Taking the new PT from the recent super prep today. Wont be adding an experimental just because I have somewhere to go right after for lunch...but at this point endurance isn't a problem for me anymore.

When I get paid this week I'm registering for December. No way I'm hitting my target by 10/3. But, I'm still going to give it my best shot, hopefully get a decent "back up" score. Averaging around 166 right now - goal is 175. If I could score in the 166-168 range for October, that would be a decent score to have on the books, then buckle down to hit 170s for December.

I need to sleep more. Does anyone take melatonin? I'm thinking I might get some, but am worried it'll make me too drowsy for the test if I take it the night beforehand.

Everyone around me is sick.
Might just invest in some masks for myself.

Take a day or two off. I figure the second you start thinking you might be burned out, you will be.Egzon wrote:I keep making a lot more mistakes these past few days... I'm not sure but I feel like I might be burning out

It's just that I was scoring very high and since the weekend, my mind just feels clouded, I'm not as focused and I keep making a lot more mistakes on LR. I'm getting anxious and I keep trying to do more questions to boost my confidence and it's just doing the opposite. I feel bad to take a couple days off, especially since the test is so close.

Re: The Official October 2015 Study Group
I registered for October, in June, with intentions of taking in October. But, I realize now that I am not going to hit my target. But I already paid $180, so I might as well take it. I'll probably score in the 165-169 range, which could still get me into a good school like Cornell. Then I can keep studying and retake in December. At least I will have a score on the books in case anything happens.theugg wrote:I don't understand why you're taking October at all if you know you're not going to be doing your best. The only schools to my knowledge that don't accept the highest score are Stanford and Yale. Harvard would be my top choice and they take the highest, so I don't see the major disadvantage to taking it twice. I think I will also be less nervous taking it the second time.
Also, I don't regret registering for October because it provided a motivation for studying. If I was registered for December, I wouldn't have studied as hard as I have up to this point.
To each his own.

i was trying to decide whether to take oct based on pt-72, but i found it hard and it destroyed me in rc. it was one of the last fresh pt i had.
so unless my score in 72 is indicative of what i will score, i don't have any way to know at what lsat score level i am.

I'm on break from the newly disclosed PT from the new super prep.gamerish wrote:I need to start warming up before PTs. I almost always do terribly on the first section, especially when it's RC. On break for PT 72 now and I had to guess on the entire last RC passage in the first question. Not feeling too optimistic.
Definitely did not warm up....felt sluggish.
