One of the reasons I am so excited to be moving to NYC is to have access to real New York cheesecake. But even being restricted to Cheesecake Factory-level stuff, it is still one of my favorite desserts. NY-style or white chocolate raspberry for life.

it's okay, I forgive you. <3TheMikey wrote:Howdy Pretzel! Corona is probably the only beer I like, given that I hate it unless I play beer pong or flip cup. Yeah I did mention dragonberry a while back lolandone wrote:Thanks! I'm from NY, so I try to enjoy the city nightlife with friends on weekends. I work everyday during the week. I'm a big GoT fan, and read all the books as well.TheMikey wrote: Hobbies? Also, Welcome!
My standard beer is Budweiser, but I'm not too particular. Love a good corona with lime. I'm usually open to trying any sort of drink, but I think you were the one who brought up Bacardi Dragonberry a few pages ago? Didn't have a great experience with that lol
Welcome lurky, thanks for coming out and commiserating with us
I am sorry about your cheesecake experiences because it is a truly delightful food. But we can't all love everything. And the concept IS a bit strange to be fair

Time to get real unpopular. As a NY native, I will explore all other options before resorting to pizza. Not that it's terrible or anything, but you can only have so much of one thing in your life. Only the standout pizza places in NY are what would make me want Pizza. Everything else is pretty lackluster.

I'll be in law school this fall in NYC. There will be soooooo much free pizza. And while free food is almost universally a good thing, that will probably ensure that I will never have pizza outside of those lunchesandone wrote:Ehh, NY cheesecake is still cheesecake.Bearlyalive wrote:One of the reasons I am so excited to be moving to NYC is to have access to real New York cheesecake. Pizza is amazing because really good pizza is fantastic but shitty pizza is also pretty great.
Like, give me some Patsy's (favorite in NYC, or at least it used to be) or give me some bagel bites. Down

Agreed. Totinos party pizzas might be some of the worst pizzas. That is to say, they are delicious.pretzeltime wrote:Beg to differ. I'm gonna go ahead and disagree with pretzel that shitty pizza is still great. I've come across slices of pizza that I had to throw out because of how disgusting they were. Bagel bites can be bomb tho, especially when it's 1:00 and you're drunk

This is so funny because 20 minutes ago I was craving bagel bites. The bagel part is a game changer. My philosophy on this life topic is why settle for shitty pizza when there are enough food options around to find something better.pretzeltime wrote:Beg to differ. Great pizza however is top notch. Give me New Park pizza any day.

If it's a not a real tattoo, this will be a bigger let down than the Warriors finals performance

I have yet to try real NY pizza. I have just about had my fill of Chicago style and those crazy stomach aches from an inch of cheese.
