Re: The Official October 2015 Study Group
Just realized that registration for the Dec test is before we'll get our scores back for Oct. LSAC says they'll only refund $50 if you cancel before the test, right? Better to register and at best eat the $125, or wait for the Oct score and try to register late? Obviously not the positive outlook most here probably have, but planning for the worst.

Oh, I'm taking it with my best friend so we'll probably just talk and eat.Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:Oops I meant for the break during the test.
Registering late doesn't cost $90, it would cost $265 total. I'd rather eat the $125 charge than have to pay more than double that to register for December

I have up to PT 67... is it worth buying the rest, or are they basically the same?
edit: Bit the bullet and ordered the 62-71 book. I already have most of those, but $25 for four of the latest tests isn't that bad I guess. I'm going to pass on 72-75. I doubt much has changed in the last 2 years.

what was rc/lr score?npt2901 wrote:flash21 wrote:is pt 72 honestly really hard?
I'm taking it tomorrow and all I've read is how its a horrible test..
just took PT 72 today. I did better than usual on the RC and LR (my weaknesses) and the last game is really weird and hard and game 3 i misread a rule (not has hard as the zones game) and I usually kill the games section (-0 to -2) but i got -6 on this :/ . I would say it was an average difficulty test. but the curve is v nice.
the medical ethics passage was very hard and i couldn't finish the section. i took this test as a real test last year and it didn't feel any better.
i think i have a weakness in passages where there is an implicit point in the passage like the ethics passage. about 3-4 questions in that turn on a very understated issue in the passage.

Re: The Official October 2015 Study Group
congrats on your highest pt score.gamerish wrote:PT58:
LR1: -2
RC: -3 (actually -2)
LG: -0
LR2: -2
173
Very happy to have gotten 99th percentile and this was my highest score yet so obviously I am very satisfied, but I circled an answer wrong on RC (I knew the answer was A but I had a brain fart and circled B) and had I not done so, I would've gotten a 175 (there was no 174 on this test). I feel awesome that I performed at a 175 level but since I would've still missed that point on the test, I won't give it to myself on the PT and that feels kinda shitty.
how did you address the timing issue in lr that you were mentioning?

I'm with you on the final take. These bunnies are too on topic, and nary a PW to judge fabulousness by.Shakawkaw wrote:Prodigal! I've been good. Re: The Official October 2015 Study Group
The GPA lists next to Cumulative GPA on the Academic Summary Report is the one that counts. If you only earned credit at one institution your degree GPA and cumulative GPA are likely the same. If you transferred, took dual enrollment, earned non-institution study abroad credit etc., your degree GPA might be different than your cumulative.gamerish wrote:The official LSAC GPA is the one listed next to "Degree GPA" under the "Undergraduate Summary" box on the Academic Summary Report, right? It's the same as my GPA at school so I just wanted to make sure.

No, I think it's the cumulative GPA. I'm not at my computer, so I can't look. Could be wrong. I don't think it's undergrad GPA, bc if I recall correctly what's listed there on mine is way higher than my actual LSAC GPA.gamerish wrote:The official LSAC GPA is the one listed next to "Degree GPA" under the "Undergraduate Summary" box on the Academic Summary Report, right? Re: The Official October 2015 Study Group
Long time lurker. Got 174 today on PT69 (June 2013). I just want to tell this to someone.
LR -2
LG -1
RC -0
LR -3
But it feels an easy set. Took PT 74, 75 a week ago. Just got 165. I am hoping PT69 is a good sign of real improvement. I still have 10 days for the Oct LSAT
Buckle down. Keep drilling rc and lg.
