The inactivity of this thread on the last Monday I have being bored at work before I get my score is making lurking too difficult. I feel obligated to contribute.

Thanks! FWIW, 90% of the time I'll take cake over pie, and auntie anne's pretzels are amazing. Anything else I need to catch up on?R. Jeeves wrote:Welcome to the thread. I'll also start off with an unpopular opinion in terms of food, but I think cheese cake is repulsive.

I can understand that. I'm not too experienced in the soft-pretzel field, but I only have good memories of having auntie annes in our local mall growing up.Kangaroo_Court wrote:Literally the only part of this post that I agree with is the 10% of the time when you choose pie over cakeandone wrote: Thanks! Cheesecake on the other hand has never been good to me. Last Thanksgiving I forced myself to eat this amazing looking snickers cheese cake that a cousin of mine had made because I love snickers. It was so good until the cheesecake hit me.
Thanks! I'm from NY, so I try to enjoy the city nightlife with friends on weekends. I work everyday during the week. I'm a big GoT fan, and read all the books as well.TheMikey wrote: Hobbies? Favorite alcoholic beverage?

My standard beer is Budweiser, but I'm not too particular. Love a good corona with lime. I'm usually open to trying any sort of drink, but I think you were the one who brought up Bacardi Dragonberry a few pages ago? Didn't have a great experience with that lol

I'm in NY as well, but my nightlife sucks haha. At least you have fun though! Corona is probably the only beer I like, given that I hate it unless I play beer pong or flip cup. Yeah I did mention dragonberry a while back lolandone wrote:Thanks! I'm from NY, so I try to enjoy the city nightlife with friends on weekends. I work everyday during the week. I'm trying to avoid beer and stick to liquor lately. Nothing beats a cold beer in the summer though, so it is going to be a challenge.TheMikey wrote: I'm in NY as well, but my nightlife sucks haha. hmm i thought for most people the frosting was the appeal. maybe i need to try more cupcakes which do the 'cake' part well4. I just take 90% of the frosting off. Cupcakes shouldn't be penalized for how much frosting people choose to use.

Who knows? Maybe I just never had the right cheesecake, but I'm doubtful I'll ever truly understand the hype.
