I think the RC was noticeably hard, which I think will be factored into curve. It's just harder to determine than if there was a hard LG. I think 10/11. There were 101 questionsrailyard wrote:-9/-10 170Smallville wrote:can we get a curve prediction poll?

The time on the clock shouldn't matter. You just need to know what time you start so you can keep track of time. Even if you started at 9:17, it didn't matter if it was 1:00 pm. If you start RC or Games at 9:17 at 9:26 it's been 9 minutes and you should have moved on to the next passage/games. If it were LR by 9:27 you should be on question 10.cd1945 wrote:Tell me if it's my fault.. I don't have a watch I usually look at the clock in the test room, we can agree it's something that all test centers have.. I went to this test center and found the clock is all messed up.. 12:30 in the noon the clock says 9:17ish...

I'm with you. I had reading last, so I was tired. And the lighting in my test room was really soft and made me sleepy. The other 2 passages weren't bad. The last one actually took me only like 4 minutes total to read the passage and do all the questions. But the Arts one was sooo boring and didn't seem that well written. And it had a couple really tough questions. Tokens wasn't as bad, but still tougher than average. There were 2 or 3 questions that I had to almost straight up guess between the answer choices I narrowed it down to.magnum_law wrote:I'm honestly surprised that more people aren't talking about how shitty the Arts and Token RC passages were...
I think the RC was definitely a tougher than average section. I'm really hoping I did better than I think because right now it's kind of a crap shoot. I probably got between 2 and 7 wrong. I hate how it's so hard for me to predict my RC score.

Re: June 2016 - Waiter's Thread (+170 or bust)
IMO, the LG was a tad better than average and pretty straightforward. While it wasn't too tough, it was a little long and for that reason I don't think it was that easy.etramak wrote:Have a feeling that the scale wont be any more than -11, may even be -10. Logic games were the most straightforward out of all the 70 PTs. And may be an unrepresentative sample but the consensus here (though I can't say the same for myself) is that RC was as usual if not easier.
Also, I think we are not very representative of the general LSAT taker. Since most of us prepared a ton, the games we saw today were familiar and not bad to us. But for someone who didn't study much, the games today are just as confusing as odd games are to us.
I'd say the curve will probably be -12. The LR seemed average difficulty, LG slightly easier than usual, but definitely offset by RC.

Tokens was brutal for me. CFC's and judicial nullification I feel god about.footballlax55 wrote:I'm with you. I had reading last, so I was tired. Babblers questions seemed pretty simple to me which makes me feel like I got it wrong if everyone is saying it's hard.

I actually tend to set mine for :25 and let it count down, and then I know the games are up when the hand is at 12. Just easier for me than looking for the :35.TheMikey wrote:dodint wrote:cd1945 wrote: Yeah I used a regular watch and just set it to 12:00 for each section

I think all of the sections were pretty average difficulty.
One LR was slightly a bit harder than the other.
Passage 3 was offset by Passage 4 which was quite easy and short.
Los weren't too hard, and G4 was also kinda easy and short.
Im probably fucked anyways because i guessed on 5 LG questions.
The curve probably won't be too generous either.

Sigh. Had 2 LG's...from what I've been reading it seems like the one I struggled with was the real one.

Does anyone who had 2 LR sections remember a question about "textese" (language used in texting) where it was compared to Morse code?

I didn't have a textese or morse code question so that was probably experimental.Kcrowell wrote:Does anyone who had 2 LR sections remember a question about "textese" (language used in texting) where it was compared to Morse code?
