I believe you can blame Vanderbilt for the original coinage.

I had LG experimental and was hoping that the first one was experimental. Completely destroyed the experimental. But the real one, the one about furniture, completely destroyed me.

I never do that badly on LG. I finished everything else with time to spare. But the LG section murdered me. I already cancelled my December score, and I'm considering doing it again.

But I feel like there's no point. Was aiming for a 168, but there's little chance I got that. Should I just suck it up and wait to take again in June? I feel like canceling my score twice, is just stupid.
Feel the same.
Everybody has different strengths so a section that was easier for other people might not have been for you, and vice versa. There are soooo many people on here, and only a few in comparison actually post so there may be tons of people who feel the same way as you. Point and case I read these forums forever before I decided to actually make an account. Don't get discouraged over a bad section, it happens. I can't really say anything about cancelling scores cause I'm not sure how cancelling twice would look or if it would be beneficial at all in your circumstance but if doing so means you're going to write in June again anyways, then why cancel? Considering many schools take your top score anyways, I don't see the point

I've been kicking myself a bit for trying to do the sprawls rc for too long rather then moving on, how did people feel about hedges compared to sprawls?

Also, anyone think the final question on second rc was a bit challenging?

Basically someone decided to start calling it that and it caught on. Unfortunately it was a self-fulfilling prophecy in that it sort of cemented the rankings as they were.

Sigh. So I can't figure out which of my LR was experimental, because I literally cannot remember which sections any of the confirmed questions were in... nor did I count the # of questions in the sections... all I can remember is "turbine" in the second LR.

I had LR, RC, LR, LG, LR.

Anyone have that order and figure out which section was experimental?

My first time taking it. I feel like the LR might have been a bit tougher, but not necessarily. I think maybe I went around -3 on each LR section. RC seemed average or a bit easier than I'm used to.

I did well (by my standards) on what seems to be the experimental LG (the second one), and bombed the 1st one (I think I only really managed to answer the furniture game, and then partially/mostly another game, and just guessed the other two).

Would be satisfied with a 158+, so I think I may have hope. Ugh, the LG really disappointed me though. I was so stoked when my 2nd section was LG, thinking I had a chance to redeem myself.

I had the same. I disagree. The third LR had the question on broca and bilinguals, physics/psychology, and tweek sound which was confirmed as the real section earlier in the thread. Shame because I royally screwed up that section.

I also got the impression LR as a whole was tougher than average. This is not necessarily true though because there were just a few harder then average ones in which it made it seem tougher. I probably should of moved on from a couple of the LR questions quicker but was really trying to just get as many possible right the first time as I have found the last questions always seem to be a bit tougher anyways.

I've been laying in bed in sweats watching TV & not thinking. And not studying. That's my celebration. Oh, and sleeping in tomorrow. Clearly I'm a party animal

I felt good about the real LG but the experimental kicked me ass, especially the game about rail yards closing.

Regarding the current poll, why isn't "December LG Game 3" not an option?

Did anyone else have this order? I think the last RC was the experimental. LG, RC, LR, LR, RC

Am I the only one that struggled over the LG of volunteers?(LKG) I guessed the first three questions of it, and still cannot figure them out now. Must've misread the conditions. Wish someone can let me know where I possibly went wrong.

That's a good point. I felt like the first 17 or so questions were pretty similar, maybe up until early 20ish, and then the typical one or two easier ones at the end. But the ones in between were likely the harder ones for me.

I rarely get perfect scores on LR though, but my last two LR's before the actual test today I managed to get perfect scores on individual sections, so I was thinking that I was maybe now capable of consistently getting perfect scores.

My issue though is that usually the 3 or so that I got wrong, I at least felt like I had some logic to my answer choices, but on these LR sections, a couple of the answers I chose, while not guessing, were not fully fleshed out products of good logic, but just rather what seemed right with a minute or two left (which obviously with the LSAT, is not at all indicative of a correct answer choice).

The first question, the orientation one, gave me trouble because I misunderstood a rule. Once I figured out where I went wrong, the question and the rest of the game were a breeze.
