The 3rd and 4th games were definitely not straightforward compared to the usual. I dont want to say too much about it, but I'm a -0 -1 in 30 minutes guy, and probably went over -5 here because I couldn't finish in timeLSATneurotic wrote:Really cannot fathom people's trepidation over the LG section. same. Not that I think I did amazingly well or anything, but it feel about average. Very different feeling about it than I had after June's craziness. It's somewhat encouraging to hear people's responses. I thought I was going to log on and see everyone predicting -10 curves =/LSATneurotic wrote:Really cannot fathom people's trepidation over the LG section. All of it was really straightforward. Re: DECEMBER 2014 WAITERS
its gonna be -13 or -14. I assure you of this. In September a million people argued with me about it, but I ended up being right. I studied the trends. That, and this test was noticably harder than september, which was -12. I'm fairly confident with a -13, would be pleased but not too surprised with a -14. Sorta felt like PT71 which was -14. -11 or less though is not gonna happen.180kickflip wrote:same. Not that I think I did amazingly well or anything, but it feel about average. Re: DECEMBER 2014 WAITERS
How the hell were you guys already on the essay??? We were really quick moving through things I didn't think we were that behind....santoki wrote: how badly do you think you bombed LG to make you consider cancelling?
And idk, bad. Like I finished the first two games in like 11 minutes. But then I somehow froze up in the last two games completely. Finally got some stuff in G3, but guessed on most of G4. Like I literally was just staring at the paper I feel like. Completely paralyzed. I literally went into the last 2 with almost 25 minutes left but managed to mess things up. I'm so angry at myself.

I seriously thought RC wasn't bad at all, and LR wasn't awful either. My experimental LR was right after the horrible games section, which is good because I definitely underperformed. Ugh I don't know what to think

This. I'd honestly be happy with a -4. -3 would be a miracle. At best, the last two games were a time sink. Maybe I missed a game breaking inference or something, but they certainly weren't easy. September was nothing compared to this.ilikebaseball wrote:The 3rd and 4th games were definitely not straightforward compared to the usual. I think the same thing occurred during my exam. Did you take yours at Pace University? It was very disruptive and made me feel rushed to say the least.LFCNY9 wrote:Literally my exact experience with the RCs. Hope everyone feels good about it xoxo bill
Just read the OP nvm
I think it was the exp. the exp RC was sooooo easy. Like literally one of the easiest I've ever had. I usually go -7 or 8 on RC but I might've missed 2 in that one. I finished in like 28 minutes and just looked around... But then when I turned to the other I was livid. Can't express my frustration. I'll never do that well on an RC again
Otherwise, I didn't find either LR to be particularly hard. The LG didn't throw up any surprising games necessarily, but 3 of them seemed to take pretty long and I was very rushed in final game (guessed on last 2 questions).
Oh, and on the final section (LR) I was at question 19 with 10 minutes to go, and our proctor announces there is 5 minutes remaining. Then she proceeds to just sit there without correcting herself despite another proctor whispering to her insinuating that she was wrong. I spent about a minute trying to get their attention/wondering whether it's possible that even if the proctor knew she was wrong, could she possibly not want to risk appearing incompetent and instead just sticking to her false 5 min remaining announcement? Or, alternatively, is it possible that my watch, despite being the one I've used for months of studying that has never once failed, has somehow just stopped working properly/did I somehow set it wrong? Moreover, why is no one else in the room looking up trying to correct her? Needless to say, these thoughts were not exactly conducive to thinking about LR arguments, and this really threw me off (even though we of course did have 8-9 mins remaining after the confusion or whatever it was, but I rushed regardless). I was quite furious, and think I missed at least one question, if not 2 as a result. I would write a formal complaint, but I wrote a complaint about my test center in September and don't want to overdo it on my record. Not to mention, it won't actually change my score or do anything to help me.
Anyway, there's my rant. Thinking -12. Long 3 weeks to go..

Ike i took your advice and went for a pre lsat jog. That was genius, thanks. Too bad i slept like shit
As to your ostensible prescience, No. Quote me on this: no more than -12. LR were regular. LG was just linear and grouping games, nothing out of the the ordinary. RC had weird content, but was not extremely difficult(i didnt think i did great on RC, but it wasn't overtly challenging).

IIRC.....it was pretty standard. Nothing out of the ordinary in terms of the number of questions.M.M. wrote:M.M. wrote:Please help ... was there anything abnormal about one of the sections, e.g. that it had noticably less questions than usual ?

Hi guys,
Just trying to clarify from what i'm seeing. Yes, pathetic me created an account for this sole purpose of asking:
Two LG sections, the first was hard and the second was easy. You mentioned rugs/colours, but I don't remember that one. Is that the one with the sets game?
Thanks

The real one was musicians, rugs, photographers, and some other game that I literally don't remember the content at all. But it was the second game. hahasherlocked wrote:Hi guys,
