I wish i could do this much in a day! Having a full time (8 to 5:3) job has definitely made this tough but it forces me to maximize my weekend usage at least....

I asked my parents to pretend I don't exist for the next three months except on major holidays lol It's working out so far! No more nags, no more whining, no more complaining. Also with work and studying, I just go home to sleep anyways.Hotguy wrote:Lol for sure, that's one of the things I keep telling myself, but it can be tough, and usually your family doesn't quite understand how much of a big deal it is for us, to get the score we want. But other than that, now I'm able to study 8 hours per day with no stress.. Yeah, I could be making money, and working, but this takes priority to me. You have to sacrifice some things.. So if any of you are on this boat, you are not alone!bee wrote:i'm working full time/studying, but when i graduated college and decided to take time off to study/get work experience before law school, i got alllllll of this shit from my extended family... but you have to realize that this is your life and your money/debt on the line. do what's best for you and screw everyone else (; when you're at a t-14 on a huge scholly you'll feel a lot better about it, haha.Hotguy wrote:100%. Ihn5007, that sounds very much like what I told them. I said I would talk to them after I'm done with this test(December). Haven't spoken to them since them. I feel way less stressed lol
vicpin5190, I gotta say, having this much time to study is awesome, like you said, fully immersion on weekends is probably the best way to go. Maybe even taking couple days off from now and then..

What's up Crestor! Yeah, I decided to postpone my lsat until December given that my lsat range is 150-158. Those numbers are not going to get me into Loyola. Are you taking October?crestor wrote:we miss seeing you in the october thread erickErickt26 wrote:Anybody getting negative vibes from family members for not working while studying for the LSAT? Yes. God willing I at least hit the golden 165 which I have done on 4 PTs. Of I can get lg down to max four, I can hit 165. If I don't hit 165 on pt 70, I will use my final take on pt 71Erickt26 wrote:What's up Crestor! Yeah, I decided to postpone my lsat until December given that my lsat range is 150-158. Re: December 2013 LSAT Study Group
Solid day of studying today after a long day of work (we have a Users Conference which is forcing me to a) shuttle in to work b) be there from 7 to 5:30). Did 3 hard sections of Logic Games from the Difficult Games Cambridge packet, mainly Pt 6, Pt 31, and Pt 38. Then drilled about 20 Flaw LR questions of Difficulty Level 2. Did PT 52 RC section, each passage timed but not strictly and scored -3 total off on the section (-0, -0, -1, -2). Kicked out of Starbucks, and then preceded to the UW-Madison Library where I finised up the night drilling some Principle LR questions, of difficulty level 3 according to Cambridge.
Downing an Americano at Starbucks kept me alert and focused (but now i can't sleep...)

I'm done for the day as well.
Got one hour lr drilling of mixed types, and one hour lg of grouping games.
Then later, two ps lr chapters.
Another break, and did 4 killer games along with lsat trainer chapter. In case you want to try the games, they were done as a full section, game one: pt 29 g2, game 2: pt 31, g2, game 3: pt 32, g3, and game 4:pt 35, g4.
And now just got done with 3 chapters of mlsat on rc.
Night guys, I hope everyone had a productive day as well.
Wow vicpin you did a lot today, keep it up!!

Re: December 2013 LSAT Study Group
Phrasing for LG question:
Are the phrases "if, but only if" and "if and only if" the same?
If a rule stated something like:
Nation X exports soybeans if, but only if, Nation Y does also.
Would I be correct to diagram it as:
Xs <-----> Ys

This pt is one of the few LSAT tests that are not available in book form.jk148706 wrote:Where can I buy pt 50??dasani13 wrote:Taking PT 50 today. Has anyone taken it recently and would like to go over it together?
You can purchase the pdf at the Cambridge website last i checked, or pay lots of $ for someone who printed it out and made it seem like a normal pt through amazon.
