I'm going to re-print cambridge and drill them all again. at a loss what to do otherwise.. I was drilling a ton of sections but not sure if that was going to get me to -2-3 range .

Did you follow 7sage foolproof where you drill the same game until you have all of the inferences perfectly? I cannot overemphasize how following that method to a t and drilling the same exact game 3 or 4 times in a row helped me.

honestly I did the fool proof method some what. I didn't do 10 games but typically I'd do 3-5 repeats of a game. I think tomorrow I'm going to print a ton of the games from cambridge and basically try to re-do them all before I PT again on Monday

if you usually finish rc passage in under 8 mins with accuracy, then you should have nothing to worry about. you're still well under time.
can you not just look at the watch and see how much time you're taking in different parts of the passage and evaluate it that way?

but if you have only been doing the older rc and your timing is based on old rc, then you need to do recent rc passages as they are more difficult and take more time.

Definitely spend more time on the passage. I used to spend less time on the passage and had to go back to the passage on many questions. I usually now go -3 on RC with a couple -2 and -4,5 but I'm more confident about my answers.

i have been spending more time on the passage. it ranges from anywhere between 4:00 min to 5:35 min. but trying to do 7q in 3:00 min has been tough even after a little better understanding of the passage due to more time spent. how much time are you spending on the passage? if you're doing modern pt rc how are you able to get through 7-8 questions in 3 mins?

According to a chart I saved a while ago, if you get 171 you are at or above the 75th percentile for most T14 schools. Kinda surprising, since here on TLS everyone is all "174+ or death!"

Comfortability is key.
Plus I'm in socal so light is the way to go.

Jeans, t-shirt, cable knit cardigan, desert boots. Layering is vital.

Haven't posted here in weeks.

Still on my streak of 170+ tests. Now at 9 in a row. Taking 72 or 73 tomorrow. At this point, I'd be pretty frustrated with anything sub 172 or so.

Hoping for at least a -11 or bigger. I honestly can't feel a difference when the LSAT is equalized on a smaller curve vs a bigger curve. Some sections are easier/harder than others and overall each PT is about the same.

I feel like the thing is not how much time you spend on a passage because it varies but I spend as much time as I need to have a thorough understanding of the passage. I usually have to go back to the passage for 2 questions on each passage, the other ones I go from wrong to right usually unless the question is straightforward. I'd say that I spend between 3 to 4 minutes on the passage itself and then 3 to 4 on the questions.

Yeah... I feel as if logical reasoning is even less mechanic than the earlier 60's which were already very different from the 50's and 40's. I just took PT69 and score a decent 171 but still, I felt unsure about my answers on lr and rightfully so because I dropped to a -5 for both sections...

Did PT 27 today with that wierd snakes and lizards game, i took this practice test way back in March. it had a pretty crazy curve for some reason, -16. didn't even think LSAT curves were that generous
