Just asking because I had that with my ex, and it ended in a huge shit storm. For reference, we broke up just a month shy of the 2 year mark and two weeks before Sept. LSATs, which is the most important thing, m i rite?.smccgrey wrote:shak IDK but we both knew within a month that we'd be getting married eventually. Was pretty weird. Best decision ever though.

I know, I was really disappointed. Mostly because it just felt like a huge waste of time. We were living together and got a cat together after 1 year. If you plan on moving in with your bf once he finds a job, just make sure you're both on the same page and have a back up plan...koala-fy wrote:Shakawkaw wrote:Just asking because I had that with my ex, and it ended in a huge shit storm. Re: DECEMBER 2014 WAITERS (New Poll!!)
This is so interesting to me. We had a 6 year age gap - he's 28 now. I'm 22. He lived like a 5 minute walk away from my dorm, so we were basically living together very early on. Living together was great - it wasn't that we weren't compatible roommates.smccgrey wrote:We started living together right away in a tiny shoebox studio apartment and it was just so easy. That was a good sign. Other than that, I guess it's hard to say why we were both so confident about it, but we were.Shakawkaw wrote:Just asking because I had that with my ex, and it ended in a huge shit storm. We're at about 3.5 yrs now and still right in the honeymoon phase. He's 33 though, which probably has something to do with it.
Whatever. I need to stop thinking about him. He's a fucking asshole.

I was with mine for 4 years when we just ended in a day. We were living together and sort of engaged :/ Shit happens! I don't know how I feel about living together before being engaged now anymore though!

Yeah definitely. We basically lived together all last year (you live off campus senior year) with no problems and we loved it but I know things can change so quicklyShakawkaw wrote:I know, I was really disappointed. Here is the little cuddle bug. I miss her. I have plans to catnap her, obviously.
I taught her how to roll over on command. She's a special kitty.

ETA: Peppa, you are MY GURL. <3 TT really helped me get focused though. Readjusting to living back at home post-break up was a disaster for me.
