I started reading around like pg 8 or 9 tho.

I realize I don't have enough information to make the to law or not to law decision rn, so I'm not gonna worry about until I do.

Threads like these are the reason I'll most likely take $$$, unless my debt is low enough that I could power through it very very quickly.

Oh shit. Just realized my GPA is gonna be lower than I thought because A-s are 3.67, not 3.7. Shit.
Anyone now if 7sage's GPA predictor is accurate? That's what I've been using.

Just had a miniature heart attack but then I realized my calculator was right http://www.lawpad.com/gpa_calculator/
since my gpa is riddled with A-'s. you're fine relax.

Yeah I've been calculating my gpa using those calculators the whole time, so that was already accounted for. I dunno why I was flipping out.

Thank you all for the advice earlier! How long did it take you all to work through the Powerscore books ? They're pretty huge so i was giving myself a month


Also 3.67 as an A- sucks. Its what my university does (no A+ at my school either ) so at least no surprises with lsac

IT SUCKS DOESN'T IT.

Its sucks but being polisci afforded me 3.8 so in case i have a bad spring '17 semester I should be still "competitive". Honestly it's the LSAT that sucks to me anyways right now it's like 165 or bust as we all know or heard you can have a 3.4 and go to HLS if your lsat score is beautiful. Don't worry on GPA too much its not weighted as much as in LSAT in admissions anyhow!

Is it bad that I think with a 179 or up you do have a chance at T4? I'm super optimistic tho, below the 25 is below the 25 imo

Being realistic.. T4 is out. I'm fine with it. My realistic reaches will likely be Penn/Duke/Mich with targets of NU/Cornell/Berkeley/UVA. Who knows though. I'm STEM, and going into IP.. I'll hopefully get patent bar registered before attending, so that might help the resume. Regardless, going into big law isn't impossible from a T20 if I do IP.. but I'm keeping my goals there.

edit: ill of course throw the yalemary and the stanmary (praise treegod) just for good measures. I have no issues with sucking ass. I'll give every school a Why X and it will be a damn convincing essay at that. I'll at least make them shed a tear before rejecting me.

I can agree with this. Although I'm happy the Bolts didn't make the playoffs because they always had my team's #.

Soccer is lame

It's certainly losing its magic these days. The playacting and whining is completely out of control and is embarrassing to watch. I still love playing it, it was almost my whole life, but watching is it whatever now.
