I think saying half your posts since hitting a 100 are gifs wouldn't be an exaggeration. The gif game is strong though, I appreciate it.
I love some gif spam. I'm glad they're solid at least!

74 was worse!
I did okay on 74... but I took 75 the week before the LSAT, and it was very discouraging because I got the lowest score I've ever gotten, 3 points lower than my diagnostic...
Same here, lowest score on 75. It was terrible.
Me too, took it as June LSAT and was one of my lower scores ever bc of nerves and about 7 pts below my high 160s avg.
75 was bad for me too :/

Yes concur. G4 in June was awful for me. Felt like I scored around my PT avg this Oct.

Same, bro.

plus your GPA matters way less when you're 5+ years out of UG...

I have all the GPA excuses: highly deflationary/prestigious undergrad, mandatory classes outside my comfort zone, 5 years outside undergrad. Too bad a 2.7 still precludes me from most of the T14.
Not trying to be confrontational, but what T14 does a 2.7 not preclude you from?

I second this. If I don't get a good score I'm just not applying this cycle so I wanna know whether to stress about writing essays and preparing apps or not
And also which schools to focus your energy on if you do apply this cycle... thats my main unmotivator

Jesus. 118 pages in a week. Fat chance I'm going back and reading any of it.

But yeah. I'm still worried I scored below my threshold for not retaking. And now I'm left with trying to decide, if I did score that low, whether I'd want to go for my third take in December and stick out this cycle or wait until June and go for the next cycle.

How big of a disadvantage is a December/January application honestly?

People without a new poll to discuss, OP.
I want some more people to vote first, however, I am happy that Hocus Pocus is on the throne where it belongs.
That was a useless poll, just saying.
You're really a hoot and a half.
I have never heard this phrase before, but I love it.
Now kiss

The 3rd option is also pretty good, but it has limited availability and the 4th one I've heard bad things about. It's also not in a very good area. Do you guys think I should just go ahead and sign up for the test?
If I were you, I would go ahead and register so you have a better chance at the 3rd option. I should add that I can afford to lose part or all of my registration fee if I am happy with my October score and decide not to take it in December, which might not be the case for you.
Ya i think I'm going to go ahead and register. I've heard horror stories about some of these terrible testing sites.
Ya I signed up late in June underestimating how quickly the good centers would fill up. Had to drive 1.5 hours and the test room had awful lighting. Anyone else test with poor lighting?

The general consensus is not much.
That'd be pretty great if true.
