When are you guys starting to wake up earlier in preparation for test day?
I remember last test day I slept about 3-4 hours due to anxiety lol.

I had spaced them out, but i'll probably jump to my newest now that you mention it as time is running out.chalky wrote:Have you or are you taking the most recent PTs? Not to rain on your parade but I've found that the PTs in the 62-71 range are harder than the earlier ones in the 40s and 50s.thatlawlkid wrote:Last few prep tests. Been a struggle to prep as much as i want between working fulltime, gf, and lsat. Results are finally rolling in, as this is my 3rd take and a 170+ is likely the only way I'm going to LS.
PT47:173/171 - First time breaking 170, jumped for joy
PT48:166/168
PT50:159/167 - Distractions while testing plus i haven't scored this low since my first take so i wrote this one off as an anomaly
PT51:170
PT52:170
Trying to find my weak spots and drill them with the cambridge packets currently. Took the full week before Oct 3rd off for some extra prep time. probably do another 5-8 PTs before the test.

I've transitioned from 8:40 to about 7 already. Next week I'll start waking up at 6:45 probably and the next week 6:30.flash21 wrote:When are you guys starting to wake up earlier in preparation for test day?

Eta: of my -8 on RC, half were in one passage. Bleh. Two were in my last passage (passage 3) which I only had four minutes on. Surprised that I didn't miss more in that one.

I'm currently working 8-4, after doing 7-3 for years. Getting up at six is habit at this point. Downside is that Saturday is my one day to sleep in.flash21 wrote:When are you guys starting to wake up earlier in preparation for test day?

And that I'll be getting a hotel for that night.

feeling uneasy at the idea of sleeping in a hotel the night before. i don't sleep well at a new place and my test center is very far away.

Re: The Official October 2015 Study Group
Would love opinions on this...
I have a wedding to go to Saturday. I have to leave at 3:30 to get there on time. I could do a PT in the morning, or focus on my worst RC type--law. Thoughts on whether it would be better to drill RC for 3 hours or take a 4 section test? I'm thinking RC would be better, or maybe 12 RC law passages and 1 LR section? The only thing is that would mean an entire week between PTs, but I don't know if it's worth PTing so soon if I haven't even drilled my weaknesses at that point. Thoughts?
My new priorities for the next week:
1) RC law (I miss wayyy more law RC questions than anything else)
2) LR weaken (according to 7sage, this is my biggest priority from my last 3 PTs)
3) LG grouping (I only miss LG if there's a grouping game, so I figured I should work on that)

Just finished PT 67, matched my PT high with a 173!
I almost ran out of time on the last game about development zones.
I really need to become more consistent on RC. Sometimes I go -2 but other times I go -6

started zones at 23:47 min and finished at 33:53 min mark. there were a few questions in zones iirc that needed brute force.

Re: The Official October 2015 Study Group
So I just looked on my LSAC account, it says the published test date sign up for December deadline is 10/23 but my emailed score for October won't arrive until 10/28. I'm gonna be real pissed if I can't sign up for december without having to pay a extra $90 late fee, which you have to pay if you sign up for Dec. between the 23rd of October and Nov. 5th. The LSAC is really trying to screw us with this bullshit

I knew that something earth shattering was coming in the section, considering that I breezed the first three games...appind wrote:did 67 LG just a few days ago. it wasn't my first time doing it and still barely finished the section.Dexter97 wrote:Glad someone else was WTFing at the same moment about that gamefips tedora wrote:I have on wedding on saturday too. yeah most likely scores will come out around 10/25-10/27ish...not that it really helps your question.PoopNpants wrote:So I just looked on my LSAC account, it says the published test date sign up for December deadline is 10/23 but my emailed score for October won't arrive until 10/28. Yup. I'm sure they purposely have the deadline set for this occurrence too. whatever bitching about it won't do anything. I'll most likely try to see how I feel about how I did in 2 weeks and sign up if I didn't think I absolutely killed it. Worst case scenario I waste $175 but I'd have a score I'd be happy with.
