Hate to break it to you, but for all the chatter about game 4, it'll do nothing to prepare you for February. Just like none of the previous PT games could prepare us for that game. That was a weird one-off game. Stick with mastering your LG fundamentals, and you'll be solid. Oh, and if you're not already religious, I would recommend praying LSAC comes back to earth with these games....

This. Game 4 was just weird, not super hard IMO and i'm no LG wizard. The key to that section was the super standard, albeit, difficult inference on the game 3 grouping game which made the game go quickly and gave time for hand-wringing and brute forcing WTF was happening in game 4.

Haha, well the point of looking at it is to become familiar with more unusual games. I'm not expecting February to have a game that's identical or even similar. But I think it would be good for me--ahead of the test--to look at some games that are atypical.

I got 160 the first attempt with less than a month of serious studying under my belt.

Study my ass off for 6 months and end up doing worse.

I already sat out a year. I do not know what to do...

Similar here. Sat out for half year. I got 160 the first attempt and 159 this time. PTing in the high 160 to mid 179 range. I bombed the LR sections (-8 for the first and -12 for the second). Somehow I lost my mind while doing the LRs.

I registered for the Feb test and hopefully I could get the score I deserve. You have the last chance too!

Unfortunately the majority of schools I really want to attend do not take a February score.

Thanks dj, I know I can do it, but I do not know if I am willing/able to sit out another year. Between Boxing/Football I've taking a lot of hits in life, and this one hurts the most.

oh combat sports, the reason I can't breathe out of my nose without it sounding like a whistle.

I was in a similar predicament when faced with the possibility of taking a knee another year but look at it glass half full.

you know you're going to get a killer score with the right mindset

if you get a great score in June, you won't rush your apps like you may right now

one of the things that made me kind of happy was that now I have a job that will give me some spending money which you could get too. more time to travel and do what you want, you know?

Thanks for the advice, I will have to think it over. My living situation makes sitting out another year difficult.

You probably misread the first game but didn't catch the mistke. I actually had to redo it about 2-3 questions in, because I realized some question either had no answer or had two answers (I forget which) based on my reading of the game. I think I mixed up which team had the person definitely assigned to it.

Yeah... for sure. Although, I now see how someone else did it, so my opinion is that the game isn't such a bad game.
