Yesterday and today I have been productive at work, but only because June 30 is the end of the state's fiscal year and I have a lot to wrap up before then.benwyatt wrote:I'm trying to remember the last truly productive day I've had since the test.

Just got back to my desk from a meeting and someone had left a giant piece of carrot cake on my desk. I guess now I have to indulge because it would be rude otherwise..benwyatt wrote:My office just gave us all free yogurt.

Ding Ding! We have a winner. I can't stand those people who took an LSAT. They are so ridiculous.benwyatt wrote:OOh, I have a guess!: The LSAT.cdotson2 wrote: What happened at your testing center?
Do I win?
But no...well yes...the LSAT did happen. If I respond then I will be assumed elitist and I want to preface my statements with the fact that I learned information on this forum before I became so bad:
"My whole family is full of lawyers, like my uncle and my dad so my path has pretty much been paved for me at this point. I don't really wanna go to law school but I'm just taking the LSAT and seeing how I do. If I do go I really want to do International Law or government work though, which are difficult to get into, but it's something different."
"Yea I totally agree."
Also there was a gaggle of individuals who made it to the end of page 2 on their essays and were frantically writing at the 35 minute mark.
Then there was your usual person who didn't have a photo, a person who brought mechanical pencils, a person who brought a liter of water (which is more than 20 oz) in a soda bottle that didn't fit in the gallon bag that you're supposed to have everything fit in, people seriously consiTTTTTering regional programs (though I admit I was one of these, but less vocally so during my years of naiveté), etc.
A few other things that I don't particularly remember outside of the fact that I remember it was obnoxious or ridiculous.
Also, I am familiar with Black Mountain. Friends have family near Pilot Mountain and I went up to Chimney Rock recently. Love the NC mountains, but I also love the NC beach (I still have all of my appendages though).

Probably. I spend time doing stuff like this but have twice as much work as my average coworker because my job is incredibly easy. This likely breeds resentment...EnderWiggin wrote:is there a co-worker who has reason to want you deadTexasENG wrote:Just got back to my desk from a meeting and someone had left a giant piece of carrot cake on my desk.
