Would y'all recommend taking 70+ earlier? I've just been doing them in order, and at this pace I won't get to the 70's.

No, sitting for February. Just been using this thread because the February one is dead.

Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
Guys, I am doing worse and worse every day. I do not get more than 2 hours of continuous sleep at night. Typically after two hours, I get up and then sleep really light and wake up every few minutes. I took my first PT on 11/08 and the last one yesterday, and here is the progression:
166 (8 not attempted) on 11/08
171 (1 not attempted, but RC +3m20s) on 11/13
173 (4 not attempted) on 11/15
167 (10 not attempted) on 11/21
170 (4 not attempted) on 11/23
166 (10 not attempted, RC +2:15) on 11/24
165 (8 not attempted) on 11/25
Average: 168
I get 170 when 'not attempted' are below 4, and I drift into dangerous zone when 'not attempted' are 8-10.
I really need at least 170.

Well, I have heard that the sleep two nights before is just as crucial. I am going to take melatonin tonight and see how it goes.i_wish_i_was_smart wrote:I can't imagine doing the LSAT on 2 hours of sleep. It would significantly affect my score. Pull an all-nighter on Thursday night so that you get 8 hours of sleep the night before the test. That's what I'm planning to do. I'm also not able to sleep soundly the last few nights. It's the nerves.biggestlawman wrote:Guys, I am doing worse and worse every day. I do not get more than 2 hours of continuous sleep at night. Good to hear. I was stumped on 2-3 of those...december1205 wrote:PT 71 LRs are really hard imoCAJOLER wrote:just took PT 71.
The LR was noticeably more nuanced but I guess the curve reflected that .
LR -4
LG -2 (ran out of time)
LR -4
RC -4
170
Not sure what to think since I want nothing near that LR score on test day... I also made a couple careless errors. I'm honestly thinking this will be my last PT... just drills and sections from now on. I feel good and I want nothing close to burnout. Hope your PT's are going well!

Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
I am going to take 1.5 mg of melatonin tonight. Hopefully a week of restful sleep will be enough.Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:For melatonin try to get it in a dose lower than 5mg. Many stores sell it at that strength, and that's generally on the higher end of what you should be taking. It won't kill you or anything, a highe dose can interrupt sleep, and leave you pretty groggy in the am.biggestlawman wrote:Well, I have heard that the sleep two nights before is just as crucial. Studies say it can take your body several to actually recover from sleep deprivation. But lack of sleep is probably a big reason why you're struggling.
Don't study at night.
