I blind review really high, (my last blind review test was 176) but then I got a 161 on that test.

This was my first PT of this prep cycle. Last time I was almost only at 170 (BR as high as 172), previous time averaged 167 (no BR).

I've been thinking of a good way to warm up, too. I think tomorrow before PT 70 I'll do 1 RC passage and maybe questions 10-20 of an LR section. I think that's reasonable to recreate on test day.

I would highly encourage anyone who is using earlier PT's for their practice tests to move to the more recent ones (60s and up) since I've seen quite a big difference in my scores when I switched. I truly think that, even though the questions on the recent prep tests are not necessarily harder, the answer choices are trickier and getting used to that can take a few PTs so you should really think about that.

Last couple of PTs, y'all: 168, 168, 170, 171, 167, 168, 164, 165, 164.

Anyone think that the drop during the last three is due to burnout? I've been doing 3 PTs/week + BR since mid July, drilling on the days in between with one day of rest. Plan to do one on Friday this week and then 5-6 more spaced out until the big day on Oct 3. Should I be taking more time off!?

How early do you guys plan on waking up? I've been having a lot of trouble trying to change my sleep schedule.

@RZ - I hear you on that one. I'm planning on getting up at 5, I like to be awake for a solid couple of hours before taking an exam. Its been tough trying to fall asleep so early though, but I'm slowly getting used to it.

Don't think ill be able to cheaply find one in time.

I always sleep by 11pm and am up by 6:30am so I'm used to it.

I've been naturally waking up around 7:30, and my test site is 25 minutes away. On test day, I'll probably wake up around 6:30, eat breakfast, shower, drink coffee, print up an LG to work on before the test, and leave my house by 7:30. I'll get to the test site around 8, rock a piss, work on the game, and get ready for glory and dominance.

just got done drilling pt-33 RC doing each passage one at a time to improve rc in this last stretch.

i've been trying taking more time reading the passage to be very clear about its idea before moving to questions.

P1: initial read 2:43, analyze 3:15, bubble done 7:20: -0/7
P2: initial read 4:45, analyze 5:24, bubble done 9:33: -0/7
P3: initial read 3:45, analyze 4:20, bubble done 9:35: -0/8
P4: initial read 4:58, analyze 5:25, bubble done 8:31: -1/6

-1/28 in 34:59 min

the numbers next to stages are the time marks when i am done with that stage for the passage.

i think i am probably taking too long on the initial read and analysis of the passage, and this may not translate well to 60s/70s RC.

I'm confused at your separation for reading and analysis? Could you explain a bit?

as i read the passage, while i'm trying to notice the structure and main point, i find that at the end of the initial read they're sometimes still a bit fluid.

so after initial read, i look back at the whole passage and cement the main point, anything important discussed in the psg, and sometimes the relation of paragraphs in my head. e.g. in 33 RC one of the passages introduced something of a wrinkle in the last para. i took the analyze time of around 0:28 min to see how it affected what i had read in the passage earlier.

Last few prep tests. Been a struggle to prep as much as i want between working fulltime, gf, and lsat. Results are finally rolling in, as this is my 3rd take and a 170+ is likely the only way I'm going to LS.

PT47:173/171 - First time breaking 170, jumped for joy
PT48:166/168
PT50:159/167 - Distractions while testing plus i haven't scored this low since my first take so i wrote this one off as an anomaly
PT51:170
PT52:170

Trying to find my weak spots and drill them with the cambridge packets currently. Took the full week before Oct 3rd off for some extra prep time. probably do another 5-8 PTs before the test.

I am so over this rut that I'm in. My last 3 tests have been 167/166/167. So over it. Took pt 70 today.

Pt 70:
LR1: -3
RC: -8
LG: -0
LR2: -4

167

I guess I'll drill RC. Yippee.

As far as waking up, I'm thinking 6:30. My test center is 1.2 miles away (but I'll probably uber honestly). I'm also showering the night before, so getting up early is more for me to wake myself up and do a few questions.
