For those who have turned to filling out apps and such, how much are ya'll expecting the total cost of applying to be after fee waivers and such are factored in? I'm looking at something upwards of $2200. FUCK.

Definitely solicit ASAP. I'm down to around $500 (give or take depending on my dec score) because I have waivers to over 90% of the schools I'm applying to.

I'm around $535. Thinking everything inside T20 minus YSB. No Chicago or H (obviously) waivers. Might cut out some/all of the T20 range schools.

Hmm, and what is the best way to go about soliciting fee waivers? The tls guide says to simply state one's gpa and lsat when asking <<<-- is this still tcr?

Out of curiousity, why no YSB? Are you not interested or do you not think your chances are high enough to justify the app fee?

Well, just sent out all of my fee waiver emails and received a handful of automated "closed for break" responses. If anyone needs another reason to do well on the LSAT--> fee waivers.

If my retake is high enough, I'll consider them. But I'm sub-25 GPA at those 3 schools and they're largely unreceptive to people splitting their percentiles. And I just don't see myself picking B over [m]any of the T13. Also no waivers.

I haven't watched any of the acceptance movement, how are you doing?

If you are applying to the entire T14, it's minimum $25 X 14 = $350

Add Yale, Harvard, Stanford, Berkeley (no merit waivers) and you're at another $300 or so. = $650

For me I had to add 2 other non T14 schools (+$50) and I didn't get waivers from NYU and Columbia (+$170).

Shits expensive.

ETA: A friend of mine applied for an LSAC waiver, and somehow got it--- I hadn't thought of that option at all.

the lsac waiver is hard to get but if you have a legitimate reason and appeal I think you are good

I applied and was denied. I'm married so I didn't have to provide my parents' info but I am poor af. BUT I have a (very) small retirement fund from a previous job so I didn't qualify because I could theoretically dip into that. :/

Geez, im guessing they base solely off the previous years income but that would suck because i was employed last year.
