I thought I did fine, not my best but not my worst. Jump forward six hours and I cannot stop second guessing myself. I thought LR was easier than normal, and the RC was nothing too complex (which lulled my into a state of relaxation, which resulted in me not finishing all of the last section), but LG was, well, iffy. I don't know if I'm reading too much into my test or what, but now I can't decide if I should take it again in February.

Yeah I wouldn't count on a forgiving curve, RC was a joke compared to September even if the games were comparable.
edit: but maybe LR will make up for it, thought that it was more difficult with some weird tricks (seriously wtf cat food)

Curve predictions? December has usually been -12 in the past but I think it will be -11 this time.

Could someone explain what this curve -10, -11, etc. talk means? Is it how they determine the 50th percentile or what? Thanks!

Brewpubs are stupid, and basically immoral. Are you eating or are you drinking? Decide. If I want a beer with dinner, I have MGD in the fridge and a frozen pizza, thanks.

Wrong
It rhymes with "seduction jewelry"
Which is indeed worth quite a lot....

Re: The Official December 2016 Waiters Group
LR-RC-LR-LG-LR here.
Honestly, I felt like LG was hard, but a nice challenge that I succeeded in -- if that makes sense. I was super efficient in games 1-3 and so had time to deal with my initial panic on game 4 and bubbling guesses to actually going through it and figuring it out. I either went -0/1 or made some mistake and it is much, much worse. RC, for me, seemed on par or possibly harder than SEP. However, I did way better on SEP RC than I normally do, and I really don't know how to evaluate it because I did finish early, just I felt like there was about 1 in each section that I still wasn't totally sold on.
For LR, I felt like my first was pretty on par, second went great (experimental though =( ... ), and the last I'm just not sure. I was on the very last few questions of S5 (LR) and realized I had bubbled them in S4 instead (my LG) and then was just struck with such panic as to if I'd messed up my LG section and getting everything switched back right in S5. I also still had a few questions left and coupled with the bubbling chaos I honestly am left totally unsure what to think. I'm trying to go through the last few questions of LG and my last LR (had 26) and what I bubbled to convince myself I at least bubbled what I had worked out as answers, but I'm still working on convincing myself that I didn't totally ruin what otherwise seemed like a pretty good sitting. I wish I could have at least just looked to see if what I bubbled matched what I had circled. Sigh. If I can't get confident in the last few for those two sections I think I have to register for FEB or contemplate sitting out until next cycle. Now onto the internal debate of whether I should finish and submit my applications or just wait to see...
Oh and production brewery and Carlene Boulevard all the way...

RC was and the 3 LR sections I took were all comparatively easy compared to ones I have seen on the recent PTs. If there is no curve I couldn't tell you if the handicapped one section significantly, or handicapped all of them to a lesser degree.bearedman8 wrote:Was cat food that bad? Re: The Official December 2016 Waiters Group
Thought I'd jump on board since I never participated in last year's Dec waiting thread (which I took) even though it seemed like a good time.
I had an exp. LG that was pretty straightforward (ethnic food, anyone?)
I think I got the inferences on game 3 in the real LGs which gave me some time on game 4. I was ready for that shoe to drop after last year's December LG section, so I had a good mindset and hopefully got most of them.
The only LR question that had me stumped was about students waking up early. Don't remember figs or cat food.
I loved getting Rawls as the first passage of my first section. That did wonders for the nerves.
Also, #teambrewpub
