Just did PT77, strangely got only -1 on LG (despite having no idea what was happening in game 3). I think it helped that I did a bunch of hard misc games this week where I was just flying by the seat of my pants.

Got -4 on RC even though I've been drilling/trying to read really hard passages. Sigh... maybe I should just give it a rest and avoid burn out?

Also random question - can you really not bring a phone into the testing room? Do they usually have a place outside where you can lock up your stuff?

You really cant. And no you can't lock your stuff up anywhere. This lsac policy was devised by a bunch of shithead boomers. Last time I took the lsat it wasnt an issue since the testing center was a 3 minute walk from my apartment.

But now it's going to be more annoying since I'll have to take the train and walk and won't have any means of navigation besides asking people and a physical map like a 16th century peasant. It's not a huge deal but it is annoying as balls.

Woooo everyone is PT'ing. I just did my last full/fresh PT, 76. 176 babe. And got -0 and -1 on my two experimentals plucked from the 70s so that's kewl.

RC -0
LR -5 (that's slightly annoying tho)
LG -1

Good to end ze PTs on a high score note. Although lel I am now that person who gets slightly disappointed by 176. (To clarify, I'd love that as a real score but trying to get my PTs high as possible feel me?)

Now I'm just going to do random section drilling or maybe retake an old PT or two. Will only do that prep on about 2 days between now and the test.

So, like, should I go out and fucking enjoy the world or something?

I kind of enjoy the logistical challenge it poses to test takers.

Like, congrats bitch, you might've scored in the 170s but you're prob gonna struggle to find your way home and in that sense you are really not that special.

Really sucks for people who don't live in big cities/live really far from the test center..

The only fear for me is that the NYC subway will have a huge delay on the day of the test.

Yeah, I'm going to leave my house early. But the thing is, the subway is unpredictable when it comes to fucking up, haha.

Got absolutely, positively, undeniably wrecked by PT 72
RC -6
LR -6
LG -1
170 why is there no crying face

Now I'm in a pickle. I think at least some of this poor performance was due to lack of focus/burnout, but at the same time I definitely wasn't prepared for the test. I have 76 and 74 left as "fresh" retakes, which I was planning on knocking out between now and June 6. On the one hand maybe that's not such a good idea, and I should just go cold turkey and rest up. But then again if I were to perform better on 74/76, I'd have a bit of a confidence boost before the test. Not sure which would ultimately be more beneficial.

Well...you know what they say. Easy come, easy go...amirite??

Got smoked by PT71 today.

Score 169. Section breakdown -1/-6 LR, -3 LG, -5 RC.

As I was blind reviewing it, I actually thought I'd bombed worse. But, this test had a -14 curve, so that made the final outcome not as ugly as I was anticipating. All that said, I hope this isn't the start of the dreaded PT70's slump everyone talks about. I was peaking right in time and I'd hate to see my progress reverse. Ehhh, tomorrow's another day.

Exact same boat here--pretty discouraging. You have to figure it's just a blip though. Like, clearly you're capable of more, and the -14 curve indicates that it's a pretty tough test after all.

Thanks man...appreciate the encouraging words. Like you said, I'm just going to chalk it up and move on. Quite frankly, I imagine most the heavy posters in this thread will do quite well next Monday. Maybe not "best we've ever done", but fairly solid performances. It's a good group to bitch with.

Bookmarking to detract attention away from my RC issues LOL.

How do you guys feel about working backwards within the section, like last RC/LG to first? With my luck, I'll be blindsided by one of the weird(er) logic games as game four in section five. *Knocks on wood*

My worst QTs are role and organization, which should be easy. Does anyone have any tips??? Drills that worked for you or blog posts I should read?

I'm thinking I have time to do another 2-day RC binge next week along with balancing enough drilling of my other sections + 3 PTS
