I'm already upset about my score, just gonna go ahead and get a head start on it so I'm not too surprised when it happens.
Also, since I'm already mad, Isn't it BS how long it takes? I understand the process and and all of that, but almost a month to score a damn test? Come on.

Yes. Also... I'm in the office today and my team regularly comes in when the University is closed to handle back office stuff, why does LSAC just get a pass on a day that ISN'T ACTUALLY A FEDERAL HOLIDAY?

Realistically they probably don't need anyone to physically be in the office to release scores, but it definitely hurts today's chances.

Quick question... are what is the score that "no shit" you would retake if you're planning on attending a #50-#100 ranked school?
Just curious what other people think on this.

Yeah... Does this actually mean anything? Haven't they released on days when they weren't open before?

They released Dec16 on a day they were closed. No idea if people were in the office though

The problem is I think there were back office people there on those days, it was just phones that were closed. They could easily VPN into the office to release everything remotely but this is LSAT we're talking about, they don't seem to embrace technology all that much.

So I think the point of the tweet was that, on past days where they were closed and still released scores, back office staff went in to work.

I'll be at work Wednesday, and I'm also scheduled to work with our most insufferable employee who never stops talking or asking questions. Think your typical STEM kid who has 0 social skills. Really don't want to have to deal with him on Grey Day

I get out of work today at 4 for the holiday but am debating holding up at a bar for an hour so that I'm not on the subway if/when grey day strikes

Why would you plan on attending a #50-100 school????? That is just not a good idea. I would re-take until accepted to T30 or higher (1-30) with $$$$$$$$$$. Look at employment outcomes at 50-100 and compare those to 1-30 or even 1-20.

The only reason is because it will be paid for by the Veterans Affairs. Any school accepted to is paid so just curious, that is all..

In that case, definitely don't go to a trash school. Use those VA benefits to get a legitimate degree from a good law school

Then get accepted to an even better one! Poke around on law school transparency and this website to see what a difference there is between 50-100 and 1-20. My original plan was to go to a TT but I quickly realized that I could go to a T13 if I buckled down on the LSAT.

Take until 170 or higher (though high 160s like 168/169 may suffice). Apply to T20 and higher (4-20 or 1-20) depending on your GPA--if any school is paid, then aim for highest rank possible that makes sense for your employment goals/region you want to work. 50-100 is not a good idea even if paid for.

WE CAN'T LOSE HOPE.
If they weren't done with the scores, wouldn't there need to be people working today so that they're at least done by later this week? Maybe they are done and the scores are automatically set to send this afternoon. Fingers crossed.

Doesn't this largely depend on the market though? I mean, St. John's (#72) is almost never a good idea, but University of South Carolina (#88) can be ideal for someone looking for government/small law in SC. The "anywhere under T25 is shit" mentality here is one of the reasons why this site has earned a reputation for elitism.
