Re: The Official October 2015 Study Group
I'm planning on doing the Superprep tests the preceding week of the LSAT. from what I've heard they are pretty tough, so I hope they will help me prepare if the October LSAT turns out to be more difficult than expected

Re: The Official October 2015 Study Group
Yeah I study at home a lot. I live in a pretty rural area and the library isn't exactly really close. It's a pain to go there, really. Plus I'm not in school now, but that would have been perfect.Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:I have a hard time studying at home for this reason. That and I tend not to go home unless I'm completely done for the day.redfred22 wrote: I've found that I'm so much better when I'm sitting at a nice table in a semi-comfortable chair in a well-lit room. I did section 2LG and section 3LR while sitting in a dim room in an uncomfortable spot. Hopefully that helps prepare me for anything bad on test day, but my test center is pretty nice.
.
But that's what happened. I studied at home in a poorly lit area and horrible seat. At least my test center has big desks and chairs. The first time I took it it was a good experience (except for the score part). But, at least I know that I can partially attribute a little bit of error to that, and that is something that is easily fixable.

I thought bike game was pretty tough with regards to questions, many of them you had to brute force. iirc I missed probably the whole g4 due to the time bike game took.gamerish wrote: I have free printing at school so I take ridiculous advantage of that print out all my stuff, usually multiple times.
The game that tripped me up was that bike game. I didn't think it was too difficult per say but, in retrospect, I didn't spend enough time on my initial diagram (the thing I said about splitting was actually for the fourth game which I got -0 on) and probably missed some super key inferences which made the last three questions on that game EXTREMELY time consuming so I rushed through them.
Congrats on the -0 on LR!
did anyone usually good with lg find 32lg hard? did it yesterday and couldn't finish the last game of kittens and puppy. the game was not hard really but i started it at 30:25 time mark. I'm finding 7sage "target time" for some of these to be unreliable. It gives g3/g4 target time as 12 min/7min and I took 8:30 min/14min.
same goes with 7sage rc section "difficulty rating" which is same at 5 for all rc sections.

I think that the difficulty rating is just based on the answer spread of all of their users. It just means that most people on 7 sage find RC sections difficult.

That feeling when your doing a PT and finish section 3 and realized you left the RC section back home in your printer tray

anyone scoring near perfect in LR who doesn't read all choices for some questions and moves on once sees the right one?
i find myself doing this for 5-8 qs per section.

I used to too, but after drilling they seem a lot easier, just because I know what kind of answers will be thrown in to throw us off. If you aren't already, you should always determine what the answer is before looking at the ACs.flash21 wrote:i HATE questions asking what role a sentence plays in the argument

edit:: when I am going to blind review RC I hate it so so badly. does anyone else have a pure hate for blind reviewing certain sections?

Mint, Jesus that's early. Is your test center super far from your place?
ETA: Flash, I was seriously missing 50%+ of Role, but drilled and I don't think I've missed one since on a PT.
ETA2: I hate BRing Rc too. I cry inside every single time I have to. It usually takes me forever, because I take long breaks in between passages too. ha

Let me know how it goes! Just finished myself, I'll spare you any details until you're done.Monkey D Luffy wrote:I'm about to start PT 65 soon. WIsh me luck....
Also, I've been watching this thread for the past couple months and just finally decided to make an account - I've been studying since May (although mostly only since Aug. 20th when I got back from a trip) and have just written 4 full 5-section PTs now. (Super prep A [173], B [179], PT 50 [168} *welp* and finally today 165 [176]).
Good luck to everyone, I'm looking forward to sharing these last two exciting, painful weeks with you all!
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
