I have never been to Hawaii so I'm super excited. & nope, straight from LAX to Maui and back again. It'd be cool to do the volcano tour on the Big Island but that isn't currently planned I don't think.

Adorable! Maui is great and the beaches are beautiful but if you have the time I highly recommend some of the other islands too. The volcanos on the big island are nice, and if you want to see the best night sky ever you should check out Mauna Kea observatory on the big island.

My problem is I love a lot of Southern things: football, food, weather, COL... the only thing I don't like is the beliefs. Haha

Yeah it is kind of a gross city but it's a big legal market and COL is that of a third world country.

I think Houston's COL will be going up over the next few years. But nothing like NYC or San Francisco. I will probably end up in Houston if I don't go the law route.

CA sucks because it's pricy, but at least you get the nice weather & scenic beauty.

I feel like this alone takes away some of the inevitable life stress when we become lawyers.

although not Maui, I have a close friend who lived in Oahu for 2 years and absolutely hated it. He said it's nice for a vacation but living there gets old. lol
