Re: December 2013 Retakers
My cursive writing used to be eloquent in high school, but I switched to printing once I realized how illegible it was. And then the printing was only less illegible, but at least it could be read vaguely. The point is that I wrote in some horrible, chicken-scratch cursive in Oct and there could probably be an interesting contest between the writing for that and the writing for the writing sample (printed for that) for worst handwriting.

Looks like my test tomorrow will be rescheduled due to inclement weather. Does this mean we will still be taking the same test 71 as everyone else? Or do they give us a different test?

LOL. Pretty excited about this. If I run into a BS logic game though I might snap like Eric in Billy Madison.

Serious prep'ers take a Preptest blacked out. The Blackout Score(Trademark) is your lowest common denominator(not used correctly, whatever) You know that you will not score lower then that unless your an Alcoholic savant. Which in that case congrats you share the gift of famed intelects as Churchill, Castro, Isaac Newton and Mike Tyson. Good Luck

HAI. Welcome to my world. I actually tried to bore myself to sleep last night. Friend recommended I read some Neitzsche. Didn't wanna read. Turned on Neitzsche audio-book and stayed alert listening for over an hour. Too interesting.Austinbound wrote:Last night was the first night I had anxiety before falling asleep. Open an analytic philosophy book. As much as I am interested in the stuff, that's more likely to get you to bed than Nietzsche is.retaking23 wrote:HAI. Welcome to my world. Strenuous exercise perhaps?dosto wrote:Took day off work and just realized I made no specific pre-LSAT chill-out plans.
I'm gonna watch a six hour marathon of Jackie Chan slapstick comedy starting at 4. Pretty confident this will do the trick.Otunga wrote:Open an analytic philosophy book. As much as I am interested in the stuff, that's more likely to get you to bed than Nietzsche is.
Good luck all. Signing off until after the test. A day never seemed such light years away.

ETA: I'm currently literally iced in (I can't open the front door), so if they hadn't cancelled it, I don't know how I would've been able to drive over there tomorrow anyway lol.

Re: December 2013 Retakers
Took my final retake PT.
I.Hate.Blackmail.Law.Wtf.Double WTF.Triple WTFFF.
Mainly been trying to improve LR, which this PT helps in boosting my confidence. Didn't remember questions and went -0,-1. But LOL at -10 reading comp. In my defense I had to interrupt my RC section to quickly talk to my mom before she left for work so I felt rushed and had to re read the passage on archivists and rushed the last passage, but wow. RC confidence destroyed. Hilarious that you can go -10 on RC and still get a 172.
I'm praying to get -4 to -6 tomorrow because I'd be okay with that...

Re: December 2013 Retakers
My test center is closed. When I spoke with LSAC, they said it will most likely be rescheduled for next week. Does anyone have a plan of attack now that we have an extra week? Retake tests from the 60s? Should I work on the 50s since I've recently done most of the 60s this week?

Re: December 2013 Retakers
Just wanted to come by and wish all the December retakers very good luck for tomorrow!
The entire week leading up to my test in October, I was convinced that I was going to retake in December. So throughout the test, whenever I saw something challenging, I just didn't care because I knew I was going to be back. This mild carefreeness (mild because how carefree can you be during the LSAT, really) is what I think got me through and I scored at the tipy top of my PT range.
BONNE CHANCE!

Re: December 2013 Retakers
Been a while since I posted, but between studying and teaching, I have had no life.
Took PT70 today to see where I am at compared to October: 179! (LR: -3, AR: -0, RC: -0) I know some of that may be familiarity, but I have been PTing above 175 on all but 2 practice tests... here is hoping for that 175!
Good luck to everyone going into tomorrow! And condolences/best wishes to those whose testing locations were canceled.
