I'm very curious to hear more about why people think they dropped (especially those that went down 5 points or more).

Now that I know I actually understood the fourth game.

People are going to be livid when they see how to solve it.

166.

I PT'd at 168-169 so while its not super off it is still a big blow to my self esteem. Especially since I was sure I did at least as well as my PTs :(

ADVICE PLEASE.

Just got my score back, first time taking it, and got a 154. SUPER disappointed, I was PTing in the low 160s and was hoping for that because I depend on scholarships to attend Law School, as I am not able to take out student loans (I'm an international student).
My LSAC GPA is 3.96, I have good softs and honestly this score just kills me. If I decide to sit out for the next year, taking it again in June, my visa will expire and I will have to risk going back home for 2017-2018. I've built a life in the US for the past 5 years, so that's my last option.

I do not have money to pay full price for a prep course, but I can't retake in February if I don't start a fast faced course right now.

Besides Kaplan, do you guys know of any prep courses that offer discounts/scholarships?
I got the "assistance" from Kaplan that brought their course down to $300, which I can afford, but I don't think they'd help me improve that much. I was hoping for a score in the 160-168, which would give me some scholarship leverage in some top 50.
All I need is some financial help. I can prove I make very little money and can't afford it (work part time and make less than 20k).

Thank you all. (And to everyone who hit or surpassed their targets, CONGRATS GUYS!!!)

I already sat out a year. I do not know what to do...
Similar here. Sat out for half year. I got 160 the first attempt and 159 this time. PTing in the high 160 to mid 179 range. I bombed the LR sections (-8 for the first and -12 for the second). Somehow I lost my mind while doing the LRs.

I registered for the Feb test and hopefully I could get the score I deserve. You have the last chance too!

Hi SunDevil14, I second you.

Exact thing happens to me.
I've fall out of range of all the schools I've plan to apply. I guess I'll see what other schools I might have a chance meanwhile prepare for June test for the next cycle.

At first I was disappointed with my 168 because I really wanted that 17x but then realized how crazy I was for being disappointed over hitting the 95th percentile.
Now I'm getting to cook steaks with my dad and just laughing at myself over that. We just need to remember to keep the scores in perspective, and if it's truly below what you need, there's always a retake! Thank you everyone for helping me raise my expectations for myself through this process while keeping me sane at the same time!

I'm disappointed too. Below my average. Thinking I'll retake in June.
This is my problem right now. Do I apply with my score, see what happens, or take in June and defer? It just seems that 170 is still uneasy territory for a splitter (but not a 3.0) uGPA
Yeah I'm just not applying, taking June, and applying the day the apps open.
welcome to my plan, take some time off tho cherry. you've been going at this a long time, I'd pick it back up in late January or even mid feb.

Hi dj9i27, I am planning to do the same.
I don't know if you are in the same situation as me. But I've finished all the PTs for one time. And if I run it through for a second time, I'm concerned if the PT scores won't reflect my real score. Any thoughts?

Wish I could mix and match section scores between September and December like you can in the SAT. Completely reversed my worst sections.

I feel you. I got where I expected in LG... my work in RC definitely paid off (even though it was an admittedly easy section)... LR got rusty.

Haha yeah apparently I didn't get the memo on this RC being easier, went from -0 to -3 lol. Luckily I didn't get the memo on this LG being harder either.
RC I got #2 and #6 wrong. That's it. I'm just trying to decide on applications and whatnot.

Lol I got 4 questions right on games 3 and 4 just guessing the same letter (not the same letter for games 3 and 4 though, but the same within each game).

This whole time I was thinking, man, that was dumb... You should have guessed the same letter across both games! Turned out well though :P

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
