A short weekend backpack trip sounds fun. Unless my wife vetoes that idea, I think I'll do that this weekend.

Is there a difference between a hike and a walk on a mountain trail?

I can't post pictures yet, but my friends and I used to hike on this mountain trail that led to this gorgeous waterfall. I haven't been back since college, but I suspect it's not there anymore because of the whole California drought thing.

Not really. Hiking is just a general term for wandering around nature by foot.ffamran wrote:Is there a difference between a hike and a walk on a mountain trail?

The weather might be Houston's worst trait. It's everything I hate about the weather here in Georgia, but worse. Hotter with more humidity. But that's just me.theugg wrote:Hike to Houston. The weather is pretty nice here.Rigo wrote:Me too! A 2,000+ mile one.theugg wrote:I want to go for a hike.

Never been there at that time of the year. I've liked Houston the few times I've visited there.

I am patiently waiting for the Red Wings game to start. First game of the season.

I'm finally watching How to Get Away with Murder. I'm only on the second episode so far but I'm hooked.
