yea ..... go to law school if you want to be a lawyer. family friend went not in hopes of being a lawyer, but rather owning his own business and being able to handle the legal aspects of that (non legal) business.

I guess if you have some solid plan like that, and don't mind the $ and 3 yrs of your life then go for it.

Trust me I will get back to you with my LSAT score :wink: you and Colonel are entitled to your opinions as am I. Being open minded about unconventional use of your law degree is something that we ALL MUST do, it's called PLAN B.

I have know that I wanted to be a lawyer many many years now, but I'm don't know the future, what I want may not be what's best for me. So I established another career before law school. I pursued qualifications and I gained experience. Some people don't plan that far ahead. Being closed minded about how to use a law degree is niave IMHO.


I have said what I think so that's that. Good luck with LSAT prep Mr. D!
