Soooooo I just did a PT. The first lsat stuff I've done since Oct 5.

I sat for PT70 and scored a -11 (170), so I decided to retake it today to see where I am.

-11. 170.

I have mixed feelings about how I did. I mean, since I haven't seen any lsat stuff in nearly five months I'm ok with the score. Just need to review thoroughly now.

Also, I went -6 today on RC. I hate RC SO MUCH

LG: -5 bc lol circle game

I took the Feb test and started studying again about two hours after it.

Started the Trainer today! Was regoing through the LGB per Noodley's guide but am considering putting that on hold until the LG section of Trainer is complete. Thoughts?

Also sharpened a bunch of excellent Tri-c pencils. I assume that counts as prep.

Nothing for me today, but I read a lot of the TLS guides to get motivated. It worked.

Did you cancel, or are you awaiting your score?

I am awaiting my score. I don't think I did terribly, but am looking for $$$ to a specific T-14 so I will have to do better than I believe I did. I am confident I can improve upon my performance based on multiple factors.

Thats understandable. I think i will have to "tweak" some stuff as well. :| For now, I'm just waiting on my score. 1 more week!

What T-14 are you aiming for, if you don't mind sharing?
No, I don't mind. I am shooting for Penn. Why are you planning on retaking?

Anyone see any decent jumps in RC with the trainer? I'm a fair ways away from the chapters and RC has consistently been my worst section, and I'm wondering if anyone else who sucked on RC made any moderate improvements after doing the drills + review from that section.

I think the Trainer does a decent job teaching the fundamentals of how to approach RC. After that, the best way to improve your score is consistent drilling to determine exactly how to attack a passage.

After a while, you'll start to notice what's important and what's "fluff" in a given passage. Eventually, you'll be able to anticipate which types of questions will be asked while reading the passage.

I think I'll just drill it to death. By far my worst section and it's totally murdering my scores. Thanks for your insight!

Going back through the trainer today. I will probably go through Manhattan LR and RC too before I start heavily drilling.

Good luck to everyone getting back to studying today

also, I probably won't start for another two weeks since I burned through all the materials so far. just curious!
I don't know if i will have to re-take…still waiting on my score, but if I do I will be here. If you need anything let me know

Im just re-organizing my material right now preparing it just in case i need to re-take
I just took it in February, canceled my score, knew it wouldn't be where I needed it to be because I froze up on one of the sections. I'm taking a break until the second week in March, then hitting up the practice tests again every weekend and section practices during the week. Hopefully I won't have lost too much of what I learned in just a few weeks.
Break is definetlly necessary especially if you were stressed out. What section did you freeze on?
Froze on LG, which was odd because it was my best section, usually scoring 100%, I actually enjoyed them too, but I completely blanked on two of the games and didn't even know where to start. If anyone else has ever had that happen to them before and has any tips on avoiding a freeze up, I'd love to hear them!

That happened to me during the Oct test and it was my first section. No tips, but definite commiseration.

Not a great tip, but based on 7sage and other methods,me best thing is to take a deep breath, and keep working. Not that that really helps at all
