Thank you for the post. I will continue my review process but pay some extra attention to how I came to the wrong a/c, why I didn't pick the correct one, etc. Along with hashing out the reasoning of the argument. I think one of the things that has been frustrating is that I haven't been able to figure out why I'm missing the ones I do. They seem random but most likely are not. I just need to find out what's holding me back.

Checkout LSAT hacks and Manhattan LSAT for explainations. By the end of review you should be able to tell somebody why each incorrect LR question you got wrong is wrong and why the correct AC is correct. At your level of performance, it really comes down to review and internalization. Keep at it, you'll get a breakthrough soon.

Just took PT 69, scored on 7sage but will blind review tonight, didn't look at individual Q results.

LR1: -3 LR2: -1 LG: -5 RC: -1 Overall 171!

LR and LG are virtually the same as last one, but RC is tied for my best during an actual PT. Feels good to finally break the 170 barrier, as it shows I am capable of scoring at this level. I'll just have to work on consistency though, and eventually getting that LG down to -0.

I took this one last week:
LR1: -4 LR2: -3 LG: -0 RC: -7 Score: 168. This is basically my exact score the last 5 PT's +/- 1 on LR or RC. I'm stuck in the land of 167/168 with a BR of 175-177.
RC sucks so bad for me. I found questions 12, 21, and 25 to be ridiculous in that RC section.

For some reason I found the RC passages to all have pretty simple structure. Granted, some of the questions were difficult and there were a few where I couldn't 100% confirm the correct AC, but in those cases there were 4 ACs that were definitely 110% wrong.

As to why I think I rebounded, I did a very in depth review of my last RC section (took me several hours) and reviewed the trainer lessons yesterday. Plus, the subjects were amenable to me (2 Science, 1 Law) and the one Art/Humanities passage had pretty simple questions except for my one miss, Q14.

Taking PT 61 after work today. Hoping to get back into 173+ territory.

A bit miffed b/c on the two timed sections I did from PT56 yesterday, I went -5 LR2 -3 RC. I think it was the fact that I was rushed because I wanted to go outside and there was a super loud lady sitting next to me in the shop.

What pace do you guys usually take for LR?

Personally I shoot for first 10Q within the first 10 minutes, 15 within 15, then after answering #25 or 26 I have about 5 minutes to answer the one or two I skipped and circled earlier in the section. Is this too slow? Any thoughts or suggestions on improving speed?

10 in 10 minutes, then I don't look at the time again. I skip PR questions and do them at the end every time.

I try to go 15 in 15, but its not a hard and fast rule for me. I don't skip any questions and I let myself take extra time on a difficult question regardless of where in the test I find it. I usually end up with 3-5 minutes to go back over my circled questions, but every once in a while I'll finish with only a minute or so. Finishing time doesn't seem to really have any correlation with my score though.

I can't really seem to get the 15 in 15 down it usually comes out to like 17 mins. I find that I miraculously make up time around Q 17 and I end up with 10 mins for the last 5s.

Something I've noticed with the newest PTs in the like 70s is that there is often a hard Q or a q that's a huge time sink in the first 12. Anyone else notice this?

Not in the 70s yest but I did notice this on 68 and 69. In fact one of the ones I missed today was in the first 5, which is really uncharacteristic of me.

15 in 15, but usually aim for a little quicker if I can. Depends if I can get a rhythm going, or if I'm a bit foggy and need to reread a stim or two. Anything slower than 15 in 15 and I feel behind.

Drilled some RC and a game. Did poorly on the RC. It time for a mini break. Bought beer and short ribs, time for overwatch and hockey

I have a manual Casio watch (not the 180 watch though) and use a phone timer. Tried to be as strict with the timing as possible, but sometimes I went 5 secs overtime. For this one, I think I panicked and didn't notice the watch or the phone at all.

Still don't know how to keep RC consistently below -3...

I'm leaning heavily towards buying it. I usually use the virtual analog on the 7sage proctor to take time, and whenever I've tried a regular watch I'm always fumbling around to reset quickly. Having one less thing to worry about seems worth the $70.

As far as watches go - I got my mastermind watch in today. Looks great. Completely silent. Seems good so far, but time will tell if it holds up.

Pleased with the overall progress I'm making on LR. Interestingly, 7sage analytics say my worst question type are Pseudo-Sufficient Assumption. Any thoughts on how to drill that? Are those just SA questions in disguise, or a different type (I have all the questions from the first 40 tests by type)?

If I can get RC down to -2 or better consistently, I think I've got a real shot at this.

Plan to review my 3-4 most recent RC sections hard tomorrow to figure out why I keep missing 3-4.
