I found Sept LG super doable + RC brutal, opposite this time around. A lot of people hated viruses though obv which I didn't find too bad.studyingeveryday wrote:For those retaking, how was this compared to September? Any weird games or terrible passages?

Fourth game was really bizarre. Far weirder than Virus IMO but not as hard.studyingeveryday wrote:For those retaking, how was this compared to September? Any weird games or terrible passages?
Third game was hard barring what I assume was a valid inference.
RC I felt was really easy. one LR I felt was really hard. Other was average.

Re: The Official December 2016 Waiters Group
I had LR RC LR LG LR, which was the exact setup at September. I think the December LG as a whole was more difficult, games 3 and 4. For some reason the first passage of RC tripped me up. LR was nothing ordinary but that last section, I was just burnt out. Pretty bummed right, I don't think I beat my Sept scorestudyingeveryday wrote:For those retaking, how was this compared to September? Any weird games or terrible passages?

Looks like that one was real. Sorry it's not the answer you were hoping forjiangzichen wrote:Hey, guys. I had two RC. I did pretty poorly on the first one. I remember the first passage was about a person's theory against utilitarian theory, and something about the veil of ignorance. was that the real one?
Thanks in advance

Okay post game synopsis LG by far one of the hardest ever but game 4 wasn't so bad after taking a pause, 3rd game felt harder but I think there were 2 biggish inferences that made it doable. RC probably the easiest in recent times, first 1 easy 1 average LR

Anyone remember if small businesses was real for LR? I thought this was tougher than September. Brain scans was a killer for me

Did anyone have a parallel flaw question where it was about studying history, and having a characteristic if you did? Real or not real? That one fucked me good.

Small businesses sounds familiar, but it seems somewhat vague enough to be a pretty often recurring topic on LSATs.simplypara588 wrote:Anyone remember if small businesses was real for LR? I thought this was tougher than September. Brain scans was a killer for me

Re: The Official December 2016 Waiters Group
Ok so my post test feelings (I had LR RC LR break LG LR, which was basically a perfect order/setup for me):
LR1- 25 questions. Average difficulty? I didn't notice it being super hard, but I did take a bit longer than normal. Maybe a lot of medium difficulty questions without many super tough ones.
RC- 27 questions. Holy shit based RC thank you. I honestly thought passage 1 (utilitarian) was the hardest. The last question for that threw me. But still not a tough passage. The middle two passages were a gift from the LSAT gods. Passage 4 (brains) was dense but pretty clearly structured and I had lots of time, so...yeah. RC is going to bring the curve down. Calling it.
LR 2- 25 questions. Same as LR1 really. There were two really difficult questions and one parallel flaw question where I honestly think they fucked up and didn't mean parallel flaw- there was not flaw I could find in a super straightforward inference chain...
LG- 23 questions. Hahahahaha fuck you LSAC first time in like 20 years we get back to back tests with weird games and I get them, go fuck yourselves. Game 1- easy. MOD EDIT: DON'T DESCRIBE WHAT KINDS OF GAMES THEY WERE
LR3- 26 questions. Harder than average. Did not like. Fuck cats and their food.
Overall I'd say it was on par with September in difficulty, but in different ways- September had a super tough RC, this had easy, September had easier LR, this one was tougher. I'm calling a -11 curve based on not hard RC and the fourth game being only 5 questions.

Oh boy... had two LGs and the real one was the one I got screwed over on. One of the LRs seemed way harder than the other. Definitely not in a good place after finding out the real LG.

Same. I did not like either answer and picked based on which one required less jumping by me.CHyde wrote:This is some truth. I narrowed it to two and I think both called for some extra assumptions.theboringest wrote: Fuck cats and their food.

3rd was long IIRC. I got the game but it still took some time to trudge through.VMars wrote:Anyone remember how many qs LG 3 had? 4th game was 5 I think?

I'm fairly convinced I got -0 on LG.Mikey wrote:how'd it go for you bro?34iplaw wrote:
I felt good about RC and wouldn't be shocked for my current trend of -1 to -2 on RC.
One LR I'd be shocked at over -2. Other I could see up to -4. Pretty confident in cracking 170 this time, but the curve could be less friendly. Depends how people did on game 3 and game 4.
