Why don't u try pt63 lr1? Gldosto wrote:Anyone care to recommend some memorable RC/LR sections from the 50s/early 60s (62 aside since I took it Sunday and still need to grade it)? I am just going to do two more RC sections and three more LRs and call it quits. These would be retakes anyway but just trying to stay sharp.

Re: December 2013 Retakers
Through 17 PTs since deciding to retake, I have exactly a 173 average, an epic range of 164-179
, and a mode of 170. Gonna take PT70 tonight for a third time just because. Also noticed that my posts count is also in the 170s. What does this all mean?

I'm for sure taking of Friday, and I think i may do very light studying tomorrow. LIke just maybe some untimed games and LR questions just to keep the juices flowing.Hotguy wrote:Who's taking tomorrow off from studying????

Re: December 2013 Retakers
aaand last PT (63, retaken from ~3 months ago?)
LG -1
LR1 -0
LR2 -3 (wth)
RC -3 (down from -1 on first take
)
94/101 for 173 (from 170)
A bit disappointing... but whatever..
I'm just worried about test day drop + inflation just messing me up on the actual test...
I took only 12 tests, lowest 169 - highest 180. Average 174, mode 176/174.
All 12 tests were retakes in 60s and late 50s. Bleh.. I really don't know what to expect. RC timing is still tight, but I am always kind of tight on timing...
Hoping for the best on Saturday but I am def winging it at this point.

Good stuff. I will probably do the same as long as I finish everything that I want today.vicpin5190 wrote:I'm for sure taking of Friday, and I think i may do very light studying tomorrow. Re: December 2013 Retakers
Riddled basins is the stuff of nightmares. Seriously, that passage is the worst. 50 RC was the first modern RC passage I did (after doing 1-10 RC as per Pithypike plan and falsely believing RC was going to be a reliable -0 section for me because early RC is so much easier) and I wanted to cry after I was finished. I think I went -3, maybe -4 on riddled alone.bee wrote: memorable rc passages:
50 (riddled basins --imo the hardest rc passage EVER)
52 (evolutionary game theory -- on the harder side)
55 (chinese talk story -- dont remember this being difficult but its infamous)
59 (noguchi -- dont remember this being difficult but its infamous)
63 (kate chopin, ocean floor geography -- dont remember these being difficult but theyre infamous)
64 (dostoyevsky -- if you suck at art/lit passages, this is a good one to cut your teeth on)
65 (blackmail law, dutch agriculture -- ugh. if you have timing issues w/ rc, these will test you)
memorable lr sections:
56 -- one of my lowest lr scores of all time

Do they not release it pre-Christmas break? D:dosto wrote:Apparently LSAC will be closed Christmas THROUGH New Year's. I'm sure that part of the wait will be just swell knowing absolutely no progress is being made towards releasing our scores.

ugh I thought it was a toss-up on whether they sent it pre or post Christmas. Alright sending my apps now.bee wrote:never ever. the earliest release date for a dec score is early jan. this is partially the reason why i considered just applying with my oct score.melodygreenleaf wrote:Do they not release it pre-Christmas break? Re: December 2013 Retakers
Last PT, 65 (retake from late August).
LR1 -0
LG -1
RC -3
LR2 -0
97, 179.
Pretty pumped as I've had a bunch of 178-180s in last set of PTs. Am I alone in worrying PT 71 is gonna come in super hot and teach us all that retakes are massively inflated?

Re: December 2013 Retakers
the earliest they released for december was on the 20th in 2007. i would have freaked out if they came out that early.
but happy at the same time

Re: December 2013 Retakers
If I send in an application now, told them not to hold for my December score, but still didn't get a decision until score release, I can ask them to include my new score then right? Or would they be like "too bad, you told us not to."
