I just took PT 60 at the Princeton Review event. Glad I brought my own, because they were offering June 2007, my diagnostic, lol. I misbubbled in LG :O which has brought the full horror of fear of misbubbling down on me. Officially, I would have received a score of 92 raw, 174 scaled . Without misbubbling, 94 raw, 176 scaled.

Scored -2LR, -0LG, -1LR, -2RC.

RC I definitely had bought of those questions circled. Urgh. Good news is I changed a lot of wrong answers to right answers and no wrong answers to right answers this time.

Happy I made it through a stressful LG section while someone else was controlling the time.

I honestly felt like I did much better than that while taking the test. Eeek. This makes me nervous. I just need to double check my bubbling for sure on the real thing. I did it on all the other sections!

I was sitting by the door as well and people were talking outside (door was open until proctor closed it). Other people were on different sections than me (since I was taking PT 60 instead of June '07). People were scribbling/flipping pages, and I managed to mostly tune it all out.

took prep test 59 this morning, with a full compliment of an experimental section

have mixed feelings about my score( raw score of 71)
Lr scored a combined -14. Should have been a - 9 but I mis bubbled the last 5 questions on section 4
The 3rd LG ruined me. missed 3 on that one. Missed a total of 2 on the rest of the section. Can anyone explain the game to me?

bombed the last RC passage that I attempted ( life story about the japanese american sculpter) In the middle of the section I had to pee like no other. ( drank some water during the break-- not goign to do that next week) made the calculated decision to bomb the passage in order to be able to fully concentrate on section 5.

with that taken into consideration i did better than i could have expected... learned some valuable things today. will practice RC section work every day until saturday.

As for LR- at this point, i just need to make sure to bubble after every question ( and not after every page) and to trust my gut and instincts. I got this
games are fun. Will practice them daily, and will do one on test morning

just think 7 days from now will be the happiest happy hour in the history of happy hours... let me be the first to toast us all to a great job on the test, and cheers !

I'll be rooting for you, northwood. The 3rd LG, you say? Is that the one with the girl taking 4 out of 7 courses?

And if eit is starting to get nervous, that makes me nervous.

im sure i messed up the rule about the statistics class, but im not really sure.
They said that there is 2 classes,( 9 and 3) but the only one with attachments is the 9am class. so i think my mistake is there somewhere.

Anyways. heres how im going to look at the test. No matter if i score a 150 or a 170, im going to walk away knowing that i put my best effort forward. If i dont get the score i want to go to syracuse on this test, then theres always december ( and ill postpone my interview with them accordingly.) Theres always another test that I can sit for and if i do- ill simply score much higher than i thought i would score ( and turn a bad situtation into a great one!!), and if i have a bad day, life will go on. ( but i konw deep down that the lsat is going to lose epically on the 9th..)

either way... i have a feeling that were all going to score at the high level of our pt average, or even better than our best pt score ( adjunctor, and eit that means you get a 182 or better dane walks out with a 175+; - the lsat graders will give you bonus points for writing a fantastic essay, complete with a happy face at the end)

I love your positive attitude. I hope there are people like you at the school I end up attending.

As far as that game goes, and the Statistics class, it seems to me that it was mostly a convoluted way of saying that World History and Psychology cannot both be taken, since if she takes Psychology she must take the Statistics at 9, and World History is compatible with Statistics at 3pm, but not at 9.

I'll second that. I didn't think the dino's were too bad, but had some trouble with the 4th game, and RC killed me.

PT 59 - spoiler alert.

The last game.. I ran out of time during it (then just kept going and "got it" all but it probably took me 11ish mins. Was there some big inference I missed or do I just need to get faster at doing hypos?
Any important not laws I should have seen right off the bat??

the last game, rules 3 and 4 drive the game. VW is key. once you know where Also note that T cant be last.
For me, this game took 5 minutes. Game 3 was the most difficult
question 17- plug in the rules
question 18 do towards the end of the game ( previous work will eliminate most of the answers)
question 19use previous work to cross off some answers. This one relies heavily on rules 3 and 4, and 2.
question 20- previous work proves that you can cross off abc. plug i nthe difference between answer choice d and e, and that give you the right response
question 21 uses rule 3.
question 22- use work from question 20
question 23 look at rule 4 and rule 2. can you plug in rule 2 into the spaces for rule 4 without violating a clue?

if you need further explinations. pm me and ill go over it with you in further detail ( I was vague so you can use these hints when you re do the game)

Thanks northwood. Game 3 was fine for me. Took 9-10 mins but the 2 times didn't really trip me up.

PT 59 game 4 spoiler continued

Game 4 -- thanks for the response. I did #18 as it came and actually it helped me a lot with later questions. Question 21 - this is what made me wonder whether I should have had any not rules.. I didn't until I got to this *question (only that L doesn't go 1st). I was fine with the rules (pencil never stopped moving) so either I took too much time on game 3 and didn't have enough time leftover or I just need to hypo faster.

I'm going to re-do this whole games section tonight and see if I can get it done in time/get it correct.

Gives me an advantage I wouldnt have on test day...

PT 57 question Help please:

Section 2 # 25. I spent the rest of the time that I had left staring at the problem and nothing seemed to be right.

The correct answer is C, but it seems that C would only work if the question specified that the conditions given in the stimulus for registering with the city council were the only conditions that would force someone to register with the city council. This just doesn't seem right to me. For example isn't it possible that all people under 12 who contribute to a mayoral campaign also have to register with the city council??

Took PT 59 today, proctored by Kaplan (took my own test in)... 168... the curve was generous..I missed 16 qs for that 168. I screwed up one of the reading passages and missed 4 Qs in a row on the second LR...

Kind of yoyoing.. praying for the pattern of 171s to continue for Saturday
I took the June LSAT and got 163...so I'm improving, but would hate to see a mid-160s after the last 2 months of prep. I'm going to take PT 50 and PT 60 in the next week (have already taken them both, but I don't want to go back to 10 Actual since they are so old) and then we'll see how Saturday goes.....

Broke 170 for the first time the other day! Got a 172 last night! Hopefully the trend continues for the next week! I know a lot of you regulars top those pretty consistently but I'm pleased to have finally broken that barrier- before I was clocking 165-168 on pretty much everything.

Also, PT's 22 and 23 respectively. I haven't been doing them in order.

I've been drilling and warming up LG's with the mcgraw-hill workbook. What a horrible, horrible product. But I think just getting the synapses firing before the test helps a bunch.

Last one I took was yesterday, PrepTest 53. Ran out of time on the last reading comp section and got the three I guessed on all wrong, otherwise would have been a 180. So annoying.

Got 2 more tests to go in the 50-60 series (59 and 60), and I'll probably be taking them on Monday/ Wednesday and then just rest on Thursday/Friday. Good luck amigos.

PT 57. 166. Eh. The last game screwed me over which pissed me off. I really need to work on it. But I got -3 on RC which is best ever. So that makes me extremely happy. Meltdown is OVAH

Our time is coming to an end my PT61 LSAT family. From Adjudicators hot UW asian women (UW! I can taste), Eit's explanation of her avatar 10 different times (i still don't remember who it is), 2014's talking to no one to keep himself accountable, gdane's spoiler alerts (boat sinks at the end in titanic), yzero = kobe (go lakers!), Sandro's non-tony soprano look alike avatar, and many others I am too lazy to reference.


We've had ups and downs, but we were always in this together. The time has come to put all our hard work to the challenge and in the end we can be happy we gave it our all. Virtual nerd toast for all!

Seriously! The actual reading comp was not so tough, but the answer choices to most of the questions were super trappy. Trappy + no time to comprehend= Wrong answer.
