No idea, but valets that worked Statler in undergrad were pretty much indistinguishable from super successful strippers based on their preferred method of currency - rolled up singles and fivers.dj9i27 wrote:whatchu rekon they pull34iplaw wrote:At Cornell Law, you can work a block or two away at the Statler.dj9i27 wrote:In a little hoedown town a friend makes 700 on a good day in tips from being a valet (he goes to med school as well). I sort of suspect not a totally fantastic amount unless they get around not having to report it.

You don't have to report tips lol (at least here) if it is the same in a big city I can imagine you would make rent in a weekend.

Yeah - the hotel does get super busy, but I don't know how the tipping is. Then again, it isn't exactly cheap to stay there.dj9i27 wrote:sick comparison

Depends on the car as superficial as it sounds; typically a S class will give you more than a civic.34iplaw wrote:Yeah - the hotel does get super busy, but I don't know how the tipping is. Then again, it isn't exactly cheap to stay there.dj9i27 wrote:sick comparison

How dare you imply that people who might, on average, have more disposable income have a somewhat higher propensity to tip slightly higher amounts than someone who might not, on average, have as much disposable income?dj9i27 wrote:Depends on the car as superficial as it sounds; typically a S class will give you more than a civic.34iplaw wrote:Yeah - the hotel does get super busy, but I don't know how the tipping is. No idea, I'm sure they'll be pleased with their H acceptance, but I'd be disappointed with the lack of $$$ with those numbers.dj9i27 wrote:I always wondered what these folks did to piss off the adcommsoopsu812 wrote:I wish! I'm just trying to forget about SY. I know realistically that my odds are fair but not great and I'm just going to disappoint myself.dj9i27 wrote:I'm having waves of HS depression. I think with WE you are borderline a lock for S. If only there was a way I could have ur gpa/lsat and u could get my uniqueish softs (you can totally obtain mine tho)Alexandros wrote:I'm just trying to forget about SY. I'm a step behind you. I'm trying to use YSH (and others with $$$) as motivation to get the numbers required, before forgetting about them to not disappoint myself.Alexandros wrote:I'm just trying to forget about SY. 30% chance. Considering comrades of mine with similar or stronger numbers who have much stronger WE and got DLS'd, i'm not gonna be too optimistic.dj9i27 wrote:I think with WE you are borderline a lock for S.
