agree. my philosophy is that it's better to be pessimistic and be pleasantly surprised than optimistic and be extremely disappointed.bee wrote:pre-game day optimism just leaves you feeling even worse after the test

My ideal layout of sections would be:
LR - RC - LR - LG- LG
Having 2 consecutive games would be the most fun. Though not knowing which one would be the experimental less so.

Re: December 2013 Retakers
For me, my Oct test layout (LG-LG-LR-LR-RC) would be most ideal, which makes me mad that I blew my chance. Having LG first was the best feeling in the world because it's my strongest section by far. And then having LG right after that was even better because it didn't matter which section the exp was since I knew I did well on both.

Glad to have helped!bee wrote:ive looked through 100 million explanations for this q and yours is by the far the clearest. thanks!

Re: December 2013 Retakers
I'd actually prefer having the LG sections spread out to give myself breaks from RC/LR hell, but I too would be very happy if my experimental turns out to be LG.vicpin5190 wrote:My ideal layout of sections would be:

Printed the lsat ticket, got a passport picture. Separated a protein bar, bottle of water and 5 brand new pre sharpened ticon. Reserved a hotel that is located right next to my testing center for tomorrow, Friday and Saturday. Also separated what I'm wearing for Saturday. Not sure what else to do in regards to that.
Going over pt60-70 11-25 lr questions, known hardest lg games, and RC passages that I missed any questions on.

RC - LR - LG - LR - LG
I hate having anything back to back. LG would be fine I guess, but I've never had that happen. Any LR - LR or RC - RC exhausts me. I've always performed better on RC when it is first (for obvious reasons) while I have never really varied that much on LG or LR with early vs late sections. When I say I'm much better on early RC, my average on section 1 RC is -2/3 and my average on section 4/5 RC is -4/5.

Whatever happens, I really hope first section is RC.
I would be fine with both LR or LG as experimental. Even though I typically do slightly better on LR, LG is much less mentally exhaustive.

Already did. The way my diet is set up, I should only want to go to the bathroom at night time due to low fiber.scoobers wrote:plan your morning poopHotguy wrote:Printed the lsat ticket, got a passport picture. Actually, I will wake up half an hour earlier just in case nerves make me want to do it earlier. Good point scoobers and dosto.Hotguy wrote:Already did. Re: December 2013 Retakers
oh, i need to still get my passport photo.....
luckily i'm only a 5 minute bike ride from my testing center and have ran by it about 20 times so I know where the building is. I may venture over to Walgreens tonight to get a picture taken though.
Crazy how close it is.

Currently almost done reviewing 62. Aside from 62, nothing memorable yet. I will get back to u in just a bit.dosto wrote:Anyone care to recommend some memorable RC/LR sections from the 50s/early 60s (62 aside since I took it Sunday and still need to grade it)? I am just going to do two more RC sections and three more LRs and call it quits. These would be retakes anyway but just trying to stay sharp.
