yeah, process of elimination is a must on these newer PTs.Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:I find that, besides LG, on the newer tests I'll come across some questions where I get the right answe, but I really didn't like the right answer and just went with it because all the other ACswere wrong/crap.
Anyone else get that?

I always play Skyrim or something to relax before a PT, I think it actually helps.Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:Didn't play destiny last night------> score goes down.......

i usually try not to diagram as it takes time, but there are some that become clear when diagrammedPoopNpants wrote:So I'm studying with my buddy today and I noticed that on formal logic LR Q's he would literally diagram every single "some Xs are Ys, all Ys are Zs" etc. for literally EVERY single question regarding formal logic. I was flabbergasted, is this normal? I literally don't ever do any diagramming at all cept for Logic games

Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
So, I've only been drilling the highest difficulty LG and RC stuff from the Cambridge packets. Should I be worried about timing if they're taking about 9:30-9:55 to finish, or is that just due to the difficulty?

Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
I half guessed on the rule substitution LG question, so that was just luck on my part lolMint-Berry_Crunch wrote:slizerd wrote:I took all of the recent ones before October (unfortunatelyappind wrote:are these fresh tests or been taken before for oct?slizerd wrote: Thanks mint! Ok, taking 73 right now. Be back when the job is done) the only fresh ones I have are the reeeaaalllyyy early ones, so I'm just using those to practice sets here and there. I didn't remember this one at all, luckily.

Does anyone else really struggle with undetermined assignment? I keep drilling it, only to reach the second or third question and realize, "Huh, I missed some fundamental inference/I graphed this wrong."

Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
question for those who don't miss much on LR: for the first 10-15 questions, do you check every answer choice? Sometimes I do and think it's just a waste of time on the easier questions and takes away time I could spend on the parallel flaw question I never have time for at the end lol.
