Christ, just 164'd PT79. Not what I wanted to end my studying on. Only positive was that I got everything right on the virus game.

Edit: scratch that, 163 :x

Now that you got the low score out of the way, you've got nothing but success on Saturday. :D

Think I'm going to pass on a new PT at this point. I'll just do some light drilling and review and try not to worry too much about Saturday.

Cleaning and reorganizing apartment tonight was a pretty solid idea I think... going to sleep like a baby.

Maybe doing a section or two of LG.

Possibly one of LR too.

Probably not though.

Two LG games (not sections) is likely though

Tomorrow and Friday, maybe do an RC passage from the 70s, maybe do nothing.
Saturday morning, Breakfast and warmup with an LG section.

I just did PT79 Today as well. Great job on the virus game did you draw out some sort of game board, and how did you represent it? I had a few game boards in mind but I let the hype of how difficult the game was get to me. I decided to just to do it in my head and got -2. One question I just made a dumb mental error. The other I got wrong was the "except" question which are harder and more time consuming to do mentally since the nature of the question allows for 4 valid answer choices rather than 1. In retrospective the game wasn't as tough as it was hyped up to be, and I should've done it on paper rather then in my head. Congrats on the -0

PT 79: 171
LR: -2
RC: -3
LG: -2
LR II:-3

I think I am mostly done studying for the next few days. I may do a some difficult/strange logic games in my head without drawing out game boards as a fun challenge and to keep that aspect sharp.

Can anyone help me with two questions from early tests? I have the answers to them, but the explanations from the Manhattan forums are not helping. PT 13 Sec 2 Q: 13 and PT 13 Sec 4 Q: 19

Man, I hope my LG spotting skills are still up to snuff for the real deal GOIN DOWN THIS SATURDAY MORNING!

Do 3, skip the hardest, hopefully not having spent too much time on the hardest one before figuring out it's the hardest. Bubble in the same letter for the hardest one. Go -5/-6.

You go this. If anything the hardest game in most recent PT's are much easier to spot, since typically the are also the strangest games.
You are going to find the hardest quick, knock out the other 3, and may surprise yourself that you still have enough time to do well on the last.

Lol! Not hugely interesting maybe, but I was taking a note to self and also made the same "got/go" typo you did, in writing the same phrase "You go this."

Will deffo knock it!

[+] Spoiler
S2Q13: All right on this one, they're saying that a settlement is older than the originally estimated 1000BC because they found a much older piece of building timber there.
So knowing this, you should go into the answer choices looking for one that dismisses the timber evidence since that's the only piece of evidence to support the claim that the settlement is older than 1000BC

A is the correct answer because if the timber had just been salvaged from a previous settlement, then it has no relevance to the age of the settlement being analyzed and thus there is no more evidence to show that the settlement being analyzed is older than 1000 BC.
B is wrong because how many areas the pottery pieces came from has no bearing on the age
C is wrong because tests being devised more recently says nothing about the accuracy of them.
D is wrong because having more pieces of pottery from 1000BC doesn't change the fact that there are older pieces of timber found in the settlement
E is wrong because the pottery being associated with older civilizations would if anything strengthen the amplifying evidence of the timber, but even then, being associated with older civilizations doesn't mean it's older than the 1000BC estimate.

S4Q19: On this one the prompt asserts that alternative medicine is free of side effects because it doesn't have any effects at all. The question asks us which statement would most weaken that assertion so we know the answer is going to say something in regards to alternative medicine being effective (yeah right ha).

A is wrong because it has nothing to do with alternative medicine
B is wrong because alternative medicine relying on different concepts says nothing about its efficacy
C could be right, providing hope is kind of an effect and apparently it does so in the instance of incurable ailments, but then you get to
D which is correct because it's saying the patient believing in a treatment (which would include alternative medicine treatments) has physiological benefits in multiple areas.
E is wrong for the same reason that A is also wrong.

it isn't as bad as i think it is. Got a job working with a judge that pays decent in a town i want to move to so I'll have some relevant WE when I apply and hopefully a 177+ so maybe it'll work out in the long run. The only real difference is I'll be 27 when I graduate LS not 26
Man you'll probably be busting out 180s like Shemp by June. Your patience will definitely pay off. On another note, I'll be 33 when I finish LS (*shakes old man cane*)
