You lie. You could miss 9 for a decent score, 5 for a great score, and 1 for Uber status.Alorain wrote:Me too. Which is problematic, as I have only ever gone -1/-0 twice.desiballa21 wrote:So to have any chance at a decent score, I need to be -0 or -1 on LG.

Re: December 2012 Re-takers
I did PT 65 today, as well!
Results:
LR1: -0
AR: -2
RC: -4 (missed two of them on the comparative, ugh)
LR2: -0
177! This was the first time that I broke 175+. Good feeling.
I made some stupid mistakes on both RC and AR, but I am not sure how much I would be able to pull that score up.
I was feeling pretty bummed because I scored a 167 on PT65 yesterday, so then went on a marathon study session on all of the sections. Either this test really worked in my favor or something improved.
Currently, I am working on PT63 (in sections). Just did LR1 and AR for -2 and -2, respectively. Dumb mistakes, but I'd take them on test day.
Congrats on the baller improvements, everyone!

Anybody besides me taking PT 64 tomorrow? I'll review that night if so (shut-up, Mrizza. Just shut-up).

Re: December 2012 Re-takers
Just went through a Superprep C LR section with my old blur method just to see the difference. Went -3 and finished in >20 minutes. Feels good to know that the change in method of attack and an increase in time spent on the stimuluses has stopped that from happening.

Re: December 2012 Re-takers
Aside from my severe and obvious anxiety about Saturday, I really am feeling good about this time around. Even though I've never seen the questions on many of my PT's, I always feel like I'm answering questions I've seen before. Does that make sense? The wording is always different, but the tricks are often the same. Like, I'll run into a flaw question about fat and nutrition, but it's really just getting at the same thing (inferring cause from correlation) that four other LR questions I saw this past week did. I think this is what everyone refers to when they talk about "seeing trends"?

Milwaukee is a cute town, despite the fact that I got lost bc I figured all downtowns were only one-way roads....
Looks like I'll be able to get in a 4-section PT tonight, don't think I have to do any more work so far! Whoo! Confidence is back up, I took RC from 66 this afternoon and went -2. And, my work is forcing me to be at the facility at 7AM tomorrow and Thurs, so I'll obv wake up that early on Friday too so my brain is ready for Saturday. Bring it on, LSAT, you're my bitch.
Edit: I have to go to work on Friday too, Mrizza. Probably for a lot longer than you. Shut your whore mouth complaining about work.
(you know I <3 you)

Interesting that David Hall went binary grouping for that first game on 67 (geology/history/journalism/friendship).. I used a different setup.

Yea, iono I'm usually a fan of his shapes method, but i would've never thought to use his setup for 67 Game 1 in a real-time setting. Not to mention it doesn't look that intuitive to me for this particular game.desiballa21 wrote:Interesting that David Hall went binary grouping for that first game on 67 (geology/history/journalism/friendship).. My actual setup was exactly like this guy's explanation (just a big grid): http://7sage.com/lsat_explanations/lsat ... -3-game-1/ and it worked out well for that game.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
