Happy as a clam. I think my studying is working.
Congrats! That's an excellent score. Keep it up. BTW did you notice any fatigue in the 2nd half of the test? I only ask bc that's where you missed your Q's. Maybe something to keep in mind.
Definitely noticed fatigue on the RC. For me, LG first is the worst possible scenario because it's my 'easy'/'automatic' section (engineer) So I'd rather have it to break up the others and give me a little mental rest. That being said, the dinosaurs game was hard as hell. Having three reading intensive sections b2b2b was rough. Missed two questions on the 'arts' passage. Makes sense b/c I had a hard time focusing on it because it wasn't even remotely interesting to me.

Also noticed myself get a little bit distracted in the RC portion by the music and conversation going on around me. I'm doing most of my prep in loud coffee shops - and distinctly remember getting distracted by a guy talking very loud on the phone right next to me early in LR2 and doing the second RC passage.

I think this being the first full timed PT I've done in 5 months and the fact that I worked an 8 hour day at a mentally strenuous engineering job both added to the fatigue. Planning to continue my practice under the adverse conditions. Will probably graduate to 5 and 6 section PTs under sub-optimal conditions so that test day is a breeze.

Most exciting thing is that I finished both LR sections under the time limit with only 2 questions that I felt like I had to rush my answer on - in the past I've had 4-5 per section where I haven't felt great about my answer. I think that is pretty indicative that I've learned how to tackle a number of problems that I used to struggle on.
Taking PT's in a less than ideal environment seems like the right call. Hopefully that translates into test day success. Overall sounds like you're making really good progress. I would consider this a good sign for June. Keep up the motivation and finish strong!

Two bad PTs in a row for me, didn't even bother finishing the last section. Feeling pretty defeated right about now. Felt good after drilling but everything fell apart. If I don't bounce back in my next PT idk what I'm gonna do.

There is over a month left. Take a few days off, maybe even a week. I sounds like potential burnout.

PT 46

RC: -3
LR: -4
LG: -0
172

In LR I only miss flaw and NA questions. I gotta do some more work on that... I'd say I'm finally ok with LG and at my best with RC. Very good mood tonight! I go drink now.

That sucks dude! Could I ask you what was it?
However, don't give up! And, I would suggest, don't think about strategies or perspectives in this last month before test day. Take the test, and then we'll discuss anything else. For now, focus on that 180!

I did a BR and type up of PT B
LR 1: -4 (worst in a while)
LG: -1
RC: -1
LR 2: -1 (that's more like it)

This curve was insane because -7 was a 177

I reccomend you guys try out the LR sections from this PT if you haven't. They are brutal.

I really just want to take this stupid test already.
Which PT is this?

I believe PT B is from the SuperPrep book put out by LSAC.

I think there are PTs A B and C.

I took PT 65 today. Ended up getting a 171.

LR1: -2
LG: -2
RC: -4 (-3 in one passage...)
LR2: -4

I took PT65 months ago, but I didn't remember any questions. When I last took it I got a 161 so I reckon it feels pretty good. Strangely enough, I seem to be doing better on PTs 60+.

I took PT 65 5-section yesterday.

LG: 0
LR1: -4
RC: -6
LR2: -2

Score: 171

For RC, the blackmail passage was really tough and the passage about the weeds was really tough too. I really need to practice RC.

I am really happy with LG since I have been consistently scoring -0 on it.

LR is improving and I am really happy with my score. If I score a 170 on test day then I am golden.

How do you recommend improving?

First off, congrats on the score. Seems like there is some consensus that PT 65 RC is pretty difficult. As far as improvement, just polish off 65-80 and keep drilling. Now more than ever is the time to really focus in on your weaknesses and review like hell.

I took PT 65 today as well. Its funny that I had exactly flipped LR scores. The soil passage was hard, but I didn't find the blackmail passage difficult. Do you typically struggle with comparative passages? If you can knock a couple points off RC you will be in solid 170+ land.

I'm reviewing PT 65 now.

It is pretty crazy how the test punishes prephrasing in the recent tests...

Feeling much more back in the game after a few mid-160s PTs. Had a bit of a break and some of the stress at work went away.

Took PT 45, went 172 timed/175 BR

LR1: -1/0
RC: -4/-2
LG: 0
LR2: -5/-5

While I feel like I've been missing mostly just hard LR questions, 7sage analytics has been telling me that I need to work on Flaw and Most Strongly Supported questions. Some of you seem to be LR gurus and I am a bit jelly.

I notice this with new tests. They put ACs that address what you might prephrase but phrase them wrong

I think it's pretty shitty that it's like that now, but at the same time it makes you more cautious with every word in the ACs

Yeah I think the big thing is to not be as jumpy with the ACs and it's fin e

PT'ed 64 today, LR 1: -2; LG -2; LR 2: -3; RC: -2, -9 Total (92/101 Raw) = 173 scaled.

Not terribly surprised by my LR or LG scores (although still a bit disappointed w/ LG here). A little disappointed in RC, since I switch a correct AC to the wrong answer, and continued on my trend of missing the 1st question. I have no idea why, but seriously half of my RC misses are on the first 2 questions. I can feel that -0 RC breakthrough coming, I just need to figure out how to slow down on the first fricken question. Overall, right around average, still obvious that LR is my trouble section. Don't think I missed any PR questions, so that's good. Finished experimental LG at -0 w/ 11 minutes left, but the first game felt familiar, so not sure how much that even matters.
