On my administration, I made a mistake like this and LSAC wasn't forgiving. Those jerks.calmike wrote:Realized that I circled correct answer on testbook but forgot to correct the bubble on the answer sheet. Should it count as correct?

Re: The Official October 2015 Study Group
I haven't actually done this yet, but I think the best way to simulate experimentals is to make them count. Take a PT and interleave its sections into 4 other PTs. Once you're done with those 4, you'll actually be done with 5 and you can put the experimentals back together into a PT and score it. Knowing that those sections will eventually yield a score will keep you from slacking off during them.PoopNpants wrote:I want to start taking 5-section exams w/ variable section starting with PT 57 this monday. Anybody got some advice on how I can slide an extra section in there without knowing which section it is? I noticed that on 3 questions in RC, I had circled the correct answers based on my gut and then switched the answers when thought about them. Next test I will trust my gut more.

All my PTs have page and section numbers. One glance at the header would give it away.Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:Get a friend to shuffle it?PoopNpants wrote:I want to start taking 5-section exams w/ variable section starting with PT 57 this monday. Re: The Official October 2015 Study Group
Yeah I know, I just want to get better at doing 5 sections in a setting. I can go -2 or better on LR/RC and -1/0 on LG, but for some reason on PTs I miss -3/4 sometimes. Still haven't broken 173 yetMint-Berry_Crunch wrote:My BP tutor suggested just placing it second because that's typically you're highest scoring section anyway.SirArthurDayne wrote:This is what I usually do.Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:Get a friend to shuffle it?PoopNpants wrote:I want to start taking 5-section exams w/ variable section starting with PT 57 this monday. Or you could just line up all of your PTs ahead of time with exoerimentals, that way by the time you take it you'll forget which ones you included in.
I mean let's be real if you know it's exp, you should still be trying to go -0 so does it really matter?

Re: The Official October 2015 Study Group
I always take a section from an earlier PT and take it as section one. The purpose of taking a five section PT is to ensure that you have the mental stamina to get through that fifth section. By making my experimental section first, I am forcing myself to concentrate completely through section five because I know it counts.PoopNpants wrote:I want to start taking 5-section exams w/ variable section starting with PT 57 this monday. I've actually started liking it too, probably because you can power through a stack of Cambridge games without knowing how your performance would actually impact your score. Doing a PT or even a regular section is much more stressful.gamerish wrote:Who would've thought the day would come when I would look forward to doing LG.

What does everyone hope their test will look like sections wise on October 3rd? I'm hoping for RC, LG (EXP), LR, break, LR, LG.

Have you tried just going in the schools page itself, instead of relying on LSAC's process?gamerish wrote:Where do you find the requirements for each school's personal statements? Some schools' application pages still aren't accessible on LSAC and I can't find any general requirements for personal statements on LSAC's website.
