Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
For a second you confused me with "missed". I use "missed" for "not attempted". I only get 4-6 wrong any pt. It's just that I have not been able to attempt more than 96-98 so far. And the last two days, because of this kid who has been my bane in the library, I've missed a lot more.McJimJam wrote:PT 67

-9 total puts me at a 171

RC: -3

BR score: 177
The 3 I missed on RC I was stuck between two for all of them and the answer choices honestly seemed exactly the same for the most part. I can see what details I missed knowing the answers but I feel like if those right answers don't click immediately I'm gonna keep missing them.

Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
Often times I review RC and I actually find I had a good understanding of the passage. Most of the time I BR its always mistakes made by overthinking whats possible as an answer choice. Q17 on RC from 67 pretty much exemplifies this, I understood clearly that ac E was how passage B differed, but I thought it didnt necessarily apply and thought it was a trap and chose D just because. Idk if that makes sense

Did PT 70 today
went perfect on LR but missed -4 on LG and -6 on RC
TBH I wouldn't mind having a -10 on gameday but I can't bank on going perfecto on LR. Really gotta devote the next few days to getting back on my LG grizzy. RC at this point I'm like ehhh I don't think I can get any better than -3 to -6 depending on the passage material

Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
This was the hardest part for me in getting timing down. I felt weird not trying out EVERY SINGLE answer choice, but now that I pick my gut one and move on I've been consistently -0 and have 5+ minutes to spare at the end.SirArthurDayne wrote:I've gone -0 on the last 4/5 LG sections I've attempted. A big reason for the consistency is that I'm trusting myself to move on when I feel I have found the correct answer choice, instead of confirming all the choice through POE.

I took PT 67 last weekend -169betterLawyerUP wrote:New PR after break: 169 (old was 168)
Still not happy though because its basically the same distribution
PT67
RC -8
LR -1
LG -1
LR -2
How do you guys breeze through RC I cannot even manage get it down to under -5. If I could get it down to about -3average I'd feel confident to get a 170. Anybody take 67 recently how did they do?
Seriously though LG I feel extremely confident, LR is tough but if you are efficient its pretty doable, RC is just gross, too much guessing
LR -3
RC -5
LG -4 (extremely careless errors)
LR -0

Re: The Official December 2015 Study Group
Just redid PT71 which I already did two months ago. Got a 175. Pretty disappointing considering this is the second take.
The breakdown is: LR -2, LG 0, RC -6 (what happened?)
Normally I get below -3 on RC. Can't believe this.
Does anybody find PT 71 RC strangely difficult?
