In my opinion, if your BRs aren't consistently 180 or 179 then you still have things to learn and it's not just about time. There are usually only a couple of really hard questions per test that you would be forgiven for not figuring out. Given unlimited time, should be able to get all the rest.

Did RC in PT 32 give anyone trouble in particular? I thought I would blow the passage about wine out of the water but it ended up being my worst passage :/

That's what happens when you get too confident, I guess

Is this a realistic standard to hold people to? There are always curve breaker questions that will have you completely stumped even on BR.

i only recently started drilling some rc by changing my approach slightly. coincidentally i drilled the first two passages of pt-32 yesterday.

32 p1 -0/7: initial read (4:25), overall (9:30)
32 p2 -1/6: initial read (4:30), overall (9:45)

the number in brackets is the clock time. even after taking more time upfront (4-5 min), still taking me over 5 mins to do 6-7 Qs.
i found the p2, the second passage, a little difficult. it only had 6Q but still too me around 10 mins. i thought it was comparable in difficulty to an easier passage on modern RC.

The stained class one was pretty hard, IMO. Not the most difficult, but up there with the dinosaur one & the summit company workers one.

I'm finding it helps to redo the whole games section, within the time limit, a few days after PTing and BRing. It's a good confidence-building exercise to force yourself to diagram the inferences and work through the thought process to condition for timing. Sort of a twist on the 7sage foolproof method, only with entire sections to condition yourself and practice pacing.

Took PT 59 today. I actually scored a 171!!!

I am honestly do not BR correctly or as in depth. Does anyone have some tips on how to work on this?

Score: 171
BR: 171

LG: -0
LR1: -6
LR2: -1 ( Never gone this low on a section!!
RC: -5

LG: yay!!!
LR1: wow I did so bad in this section :(. All six wrong were within the last 10 questions of the exam. I guess the thought of having the break soon made me not focus as much
LR2: not as bad as the first section)
RC: -his is a pretty bad score for an RC too. My saving grace was my LG score.

Realized that I circled correct answer on testbook but forgot to correct the bubble on the answer sheet. Should it count as correct?

I want to start taking 5-section exams w/ variable section starting with PT 57 this monday. Anybody got some advice on how I can slide an extra section in there without knowing which section it is? Trying to stimulate test-day conditions + for at least 15 days from now til the 3rd of October

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
