I'm thinking about doing an 80's/90's campy/corny horror flick marathon. Friday the 13th(parts 1 through whatever), Nightmare on Elm Street, The Ghoulies, Hellraiser (legit freaked me out as a kid), House 1 and 2, Dead Alive (Peter Jackson at his finest), etc. Throw in some episodes of Tales from the Crypt too.Sera Numquam wrote:I don't think I've seen that one. I used to love this movie from the 40s called Devil Bat. Definitely campy. I watched it as a kid and it was on the other nightThe Abyss wrote:I'm thinking about doing an 80's/90's campy/corny horror flick marathon. Dead Alive and House are in the same vein as Tales from the Crypt. Goofy, tongue in cheek horror.chicharon wrote:I'll take Tales from the Crypt but none of the others. The Abyss wrote:I'm thinking about doing an 80's/90's campy/corny horror flick marathon. My book club aka gathering in which we drink wine on my friend's balcony once a month is starting Station Eleven, haven't read it yet but I've heard good things.Monkey D Luffy wrote:Any books you guys would recommend to read for pleasure?

I've been slowly working my way through the Ender's Game books. (Slowly as in read one cover to cover in one sitting, then don't read another for six months.) Really enjoying them, though!Monkey D Luffy wrote:Any books you guys would recommend to read for pleasure?
