Sorry for the broken link. Too lazy to remedy it. Just google "Lsat demographic information"?

I had a dream that I got a 168 and I EDed Cornell second round and got in. I regretted it because I got some $$$ from USC and was greatly conflicted.

Thanks. Maybe I will give Angel a try, if I can just get over the macho.CookieDough wrote:bee wrote:buffy: it depends on your stomach for camp. it is, unavoidably, a show about teenagers (at least for the first few seasons), with low production value and bad special effects... but great writing (okay, most of the time), great humor, and decent acting. the musical episode was the one and only musical episode ever in the history of tv that was worth watching. it's also a bit of a classic, which is why i watched it in the first place (i missed the train as a kid too, didn't watch it till i was like a senior in ug).Nightrunner wrote: OK so I love (love) basically everything Joss I have ever seen. But I've never seen Buffy or Angel, in large part because I missed the train of watching it as a kid, and now I'm a grown-ass man and it feels like watching Buffy or Angel is absurd. But I do like to ask the question: is it as good as the rest of his stuff?
angel, on the other hand, is (controversial opinion) better than buffy and more enjoyable if you dont have the sentimentality a lot of people have for buffy. it's darker, more adult, and deals with issues that buffy cant. i liked it quite a lot.
if you enjoy whedons work, i'd give them both a try (they're on netflix), but if i had to watch just one, i'd choose angel. added bonus: you dont really need to watch buffy to understand whats going on.
Pretty much everything here. If you skip Buffy (I'm one of the sentimental people who watched it as a kid) I'd say watch once more with feeling (musical episode). It's the best and doesn't require a whole lot of context. Hush is also amazing. But Angel for sure you need to watch, and I'm pretty sure the first season gives more than enough back story.

So thoughts for a better topic than reverting back to buffy vs angel include....Christmas gift ideas (I've got two sisters, a brother, and a brother's fiance that are yet unaccounted for), anyone playing the lottery tonight (lawyers need to make money somehow), and are you as excited as I am to quit your job and go back to school?

I'm in an office pool. We have 50 entries. If I win, I'm going to go to the best school I get into at sticker.John Everyman wrote:So thoughts for a better topic than reverting back to buffy vs angel include....Christmas gift ideas (I've got two sisters, a brother, and a brother's fiance that are yet unaccounted for), anyone playing the lottery tonight (lawyers need to make money somehow), and are you as excited as I am to quit your job and go back to school?

USC at sticker. Get a house in LA. Put the rest into bank accounts (max FDIC insured) and bonds.
Yolo.

hah, I'm sitting on 56 entries in my office pool. Woman taking the money made the joke "of course, entry in this pool comes on the condition that if we win you have to stay for ten more years..." I cringed.
