I loved Mike's Trainer for LR and RC, but with 45 days left I'm not sure what you would want to prioritize.

I need to prioritize LR and RC. I am going about -5-7 on LR per section and about -5 on RC. LG is my best section -3 but I need to improve my timing. I read both the Powerscore and Manhattan LR books twice, but its obvious I still need to improve some concepts and my timing.

Thanks! I will order that today, need to get back on the grind.peppermint wrote:Def get the trainer then. It's a pretty quick read, esp if you've already gone through the Manhattan LR twice. I'm just above 170 and my score doesn't really fluctuate that much. I don't think it should fluctuate 10 points - 3 or 4 points at most. Mentally fatigued maybe? Also the issue of the BR raised is important. What are you scoring after BR? Your 170 times PT's tells me It should be close to 180. If not then id agree with the weak fundamentals and getting lucky.

Honestly I'd bet it's not luck. I'm pretty sure you'd get close to 175 with an untimed pt. I'd say don't get worried.zacboro wrote:To be honest I wasn't using BR. Because I've never heard of it. Don't really have much to say now other than I'll be implementing it in the next few weeks and hoping for the best. Recently, I've just been test - score - review incorrect. But BR seems much better. The only reason I wasn't chalking it up to luck is that I got a 170, a 172, and a 174. So I couldn't be getting that lucky that much? (Save for a few here and there.) Alas, I believe I've fallen victim to fatigue. So other than the persistent TLS forum trolling I'm taking a few days off of PTs for now.

This is sort of exactly what I've been doing, so I hope you're right. Went 170 then 163 two days later. Going to start focusing on drilling and BRing.

Can I suggest doing BR for LG and RC soon after you take them timed? Then you'll have the markups/diagrams and the thought processes will be fresh in your head. So you can use that to review. If not then you can also just redo the entire passage/game (this time obviously taking as much time as you need) - which isnt the worst idea.zacboro wrote:QUESTION ABOUT BLIND REVIEW
For some incorrect answers they tell you to "save the question to review later." Umm... how does one go about doing this for Logic Games or Reading Comprehension? Or what does anyone suggest about doing instead? (Since it's useless to save a LG or RC question without the rules or passage, and it's not practical to save a bunch of rules and passages for one question each.) And honestly, with saving LR questions, I've heard of people doing it. Does anyone here do it? Is it really as beneficial as people say?

Whenever I BR, I redo my LG setups because I want to make sure nothing was wrong with my setup or if I missed an inference.flawyers wrote:Can I suggest doing BR for LG and RC soon after you take them timed? thats why its best to have pdf'szacboro wrote:The 7Sage article on BR says to save them, as in save them for review at a later date (in addition to the review done currently!) such as a week or two later. Like compile them together. As in A) cut them out of the prep test books, or B) write them down or type them up in one document so there's a compiled list of questions. I'm saying it's impractical to type an entire RC passage. It's not entirely impractical to type up a LR question.
