Same

Except there will be some days I have to sleep in because I hate mornings

Yup. Study 5-6 days a week, 9-5 with lunch for an hour, then do insanity in the evenings haha.

I am. Still in the mastering the material phase. The plan is to take 2-3 PTs per week and then review on my off days and drill weak areas. That will be supplemented with healthy eating and working out.

I also enrolled in a Powerscore live prep course in Houston that will run from the 5th of July until about late August.

I've been drilling by type with Cambridge packets as I've worked my way through the Trainer... Happy with my progress so far... We will see how this work translates to actual full, timed PTs when I start doing them end of June... My diagnostic was 155, so I am hoping that after drilling and finishing the Trainer my next test will be over 160 - should I be concerned if it's not?

you'll definitely get at least a 160. if you don't, no need to be concerned. just focus on the goal. worrying won't help you and will make you perform worse. the majority of your progress will most likely come a little later when you go through the Bibles and have timing locked down. BUT YOU WILL GET AT LEAST A 160!!!

Officially checking in!!!
PTing in the low 170s, looking to get that to 175+ or better by September. Applying this upcoming cycle, but keeping my mind open to getting some work experience first.
Let's rock this test!

OK, I'm going to join this thread. Things seem stuck between 165-168 with a month to go for the June test. 170 is my minimally acceptable score so the Sept administration is looking like a lock at this point (absent a statistical outlier). Good luck to everyone!

Hi all,
I'm also officially joining this thread. I just started studying with Mike Kim's LSAT Trainer about a week ago, so I have a long way to go to get the score I want.

Got some good hours in today, feel really good about the progress I am making on LR... Getting pretty much all the questions in my drills correct... Got smacked in the face after going back to LG today, though

LG is definitely my weakest point - I feel like my setups are strong, but as soon as I hit the questions and have to start making inferences, I stumble and take LOTS of time. Will I get better/faster simply as a function of doing more and more games and redoing them over and over like 7sage Foolproof Method suggests?

Officially checking in. Dropped the ball on June prep, so I decided to get on board for September.

Are you running a few hypotheticals before hitting the questions?

No, is that setting up hypothetical game boards with variables placed different ways? Is that a good strategy to set up lots of game boards with variables placed as many ways as possible before hitting the questions? Is that a strategy in the Trainer? - I haven't gotten to the final LG section in the Trainer yet.

I'm not sure if the trainer suggests the approach, but it's commonly referred to on 7sage. Sometimes a game will only have a handful of "possible worlds" and it is very beneficial to diagram each of them before hitting the questions. Even if there is many "possible worlds", I still find it beneficial to run a few hypotheticals to familiarize myself with the game. Even if the hypothetical I test at the beginning turns out to be of no use, I think it gives me confidence when running future hypotheticals. Give it a shot and see if it helps...

Does anyone know when registration for the September test typically becomes available?
I need to switch my test date from June to September.
Edit: Just called - registration will open May 12th and the last day to switch is May 17th.

Thanks for this.. I won't be PTing until June but I want that to gauge whether I register right away or not. I am really hoping since I am going through my material coupled with drilling and reviewing SLOWLY that by the time I start PTing I will be ready.
I have heard the LR from the 70s is harder than the older ones i.e. 40-60s, so I'm thinking of going through the 70s early on and then reinforcing them at the end after I have gone through the 40s-60s.
