7Sage for LG all the way. Check into his method for going perfect on games.

But are you drilling by type or are you drilling one PT at a time? Is there a list that separates the games by type?

I've taken the test twice already, so basically, this round of prep is just straight drilling and then nothing but timed preptests. If I were in your position, I would work my way from basic linear to advanced linear to grouping to in/out to hybrid then full sections timed.

Did not blind review. I took all 4 sections in a row, strictly timed. Feeling pretty good right now but I know I can't let up, aiming for 180!

Hey guys, my intent was just to give a thorough answer to the question especially since a previous poster in that thread incorrectly stated that LSAC commonly rotates/changes which test centers they list/use as regular test centers from year to year. I have no pretentious intent, I'm just trying to be helpful and post reliable info for students prepping for the test based on my knowledge and experience I've gained from being an LSAT teacher and tutor for the last 14 years. No ego issues involved, I regularly post LSAT info and advice here in my spare time pro bono because I enjoy helping people prep for the test.

Yes, many (ok most) of my posts are long, but that's just because I like to be clear and provide thorough answers and explanations and facts I've learned/observed over the years I've been an LSAT teacher/tutor.

RE: The SF South Bay area. It appears that that is an area where there's been a significant decline in test takers/registrant demand. Last year LSAC had fewer test center options in that area than they had in previous years and there were a number of threads here last year about this same issue.

Anyway, I'm just trying to helpful, sorry if my posts seem long winded or pretentious.

There is no reason for you to explain yourself/apologize. You have been providing extremely helpful posts on TLS for a long time which speaks for itself. Your posts don't seem long winded or pretentious at all. So thank you for all your helpful posts.

On an unrelated note...life fucked me over and it derailed my life plans. So checking in for another retake.

Guys, I'm going to follow the LSAT trainer schedule 16 weeks, and drill on the side. Re-reading that book ,especially RC. Just like you counssellor, I sometimes feel like I just killed an LR section and got -7, and sometimes I'm like "well here comes -12" and I get -4. Going to drill all of cambridge RC at least 2x over.

You might want to look at the D.I.Y. schedule, and the drilling is already incorporated with the lessons. Try to put your answer into 7sage, it makes it very easy yo see what specific LR question types your getting wrong. You may have one type of question that always snags you. Also, do blind review, its good to see if you are getting them wrong because of time constraints vs. Actually not knowing what the questions wants you to identify. Good luck!

Get used to waking up at the time you will wake up for the LSAT beforehand, and do a significant amount of your studying then.

Aiming for 168 in October, but probably just self-studying. Aside from the Logic Games Bible, is there anything specific you guys swear by for prep? Based on the first diagnostic, I could definitely use some LR improvement...

Read TLS1776's guide. It helps considerably understanding what is valuable with attaining a top score. Also, I just checked out 7sage. Google it. It will be immensely helpful with all facets of preparing for the LSAT.

How is everyone doing?

I am currently running 5 miles every 3 days per week, and although I get really tired after, this has helped me develop a razor-sharp focus for LSAT questions.

For example, I went -0 on the Juarez & Rosenburg game (PT24-S4-Game 4) in 8 minutes.

Nothing really went wrong on test day. I beat my PT average on my first take, and tied my highest PT on the 2nd. At root, I wasn't prepared nearly well enough. I spent four weeks studying (ineffectually) for the first, and five for the second, with about five months off between them. The closest anything came to going wrong was being woefully underprepared on LG and having to brute force my way through two entire games the first time around due to a lack of game-type knowledge.

My first post!! I took my diagnostic the spring semester of my junior year and got a 153.

I'm shooting for a 170...it might seem like a long shot but I'm feeling determined!!!
