i just started because of the great testimonies in the oct thread. i'd suggest asking about it there if you want to know more. i know a lot of people swear by it.

What's the difference between the course and their suggested method for drilling LGs?

7sage is legit. I think their fool-proof method kinda over kill, but the whole spirit/point is, do it as many times as you need until you're 100%. For some people it's 10. For others it's 3 times.

There's really differing opinions out there about courses. But if you do decide to enroll in a course, I recommend 7sage. I haven't personally taken them, but if their enrollment stuff is better than the free stuff they've been offering, then they're probably pretty good, because the freebies 7sage offers are incredible.

I just purchased 7sage, so far it make complete sense what they are saying! I am excited. I have studied for over 9 months, and I have only scored an average of 150(highest being 158), I hope that this course will get me to the 163 goal that I have. I will keep posting to track how the course is helping me out.

A bit about myself:
Took testmasters last year, then gave up on the lsat to follow up on some hobbies i had, now I'm back. Just about finished the lr bible, half way through the lsat trainer, got the Manhattan books to follow up after. Studying about 6 hours a day starting tomorrow. Aiming for 172+, currently at 163 average, but not pting hardcore yet. Almost mastery on lg, want to work on lr and rc the most. Lr at - 5/-7 rc at - 10, lg at - 0/-1.

I took velocity but didn't complete their course after, but did most of it.. If anyone needs feedback on those, let me know.

Took a PT today, but not with strict timing conditions for the entire test, just every section was timed. Did the best I've done on a PT, out of a total 5 taken. PT 30 was the one i took today.

Scored 165, -1 on LG, -6 (-5 after blind review) on LR#1, -7 on RC (-4 on one passage so that kind of sunk my ship), and then -8 (-7 after blind review) on LR#2. Ultimately on both blind reviews i got most of my "iffies" right but then got blind sided by some of the ones I thought were sure fire. Seemingly took a small step back in LR's, but a big leap on both LG's and RC's. So far my progression over 5 tests is 148, 158, 151, 161, 165. Will keep on the grind and take another PT next week, most likely in the 40s instead of the 30s.

That's great improvement. Be aware that lr and rc is supposedly harder on the 60s compared to 30s. But you got plenty of time to kickass.

That's what I've heard :/. I've heard LG's are also more geared toward inference making as opposed to diagramming but I think I have LGs on lock at this point....can't get too confident though.


Still, I'd been scoring around -10 to -12 on RC and something started clicking better for me (what I scored on the RC on this test was actually a little off from how I'd been doing on a few previous sections), and hopefully with LRs it will come with time. At this point LGs are carrying me but I feel like the break through is near....still plenty of time to get there.

hey i was thinking of signing up for testmasters' online course. How did you find it?

Has anybody tried 7sage course?

I am taking the basic course. I love it! It gives you a schedule of what you need to be doing every week. You can watch the videos as many times as you need. You can also ask the instructors and other students questions when needed. I'm only about 40% thru though so I cant really give you too much info. If I'm not grasping something the way it's given in the course I usually pull out the Manhattan materials. The LG videos are excellent! Hands down, no question! I've only taken the initial PT, June 07, as instructed by the syllabus. There isn't another PT until later on in the course after you've gone through everything, so I can't give you an initial score and one to date. I have improved a great deal though on LR and LG. I haven't gotten to RC in my studies yet. I think the videos just give a better understanding into someone else's thought process. Much like being in a class listening to the teacher. Sometimes reading materials just doesnt get it. Sometimes it takes hearing/seeing it and reading it for me. I'm glad I didnt spend the $1500 on one of those other courses after beginning this. This course is less than $200! Do you have any specific questions regarding the course? Like I said I'm not even half way through the course yet, but I can try to answer any questions.

I think that testmasters is great for those looking for a more mechanical approach. If you haven't done the PS bibles, take a look at those as their method are very similar. If you're just starting to study, I think it would be a great foundation for you to later incorporate Manhattan or the lsat trainer(or both).
If you need more info let me know. I took the full course which includes all the online material and access.

Lol I feel the same as you, just don't feel that RC is getting much better, then again I have often neglected it.
Did anything specifically help you progress on RC that you weren't doing before?
