Revised PT 20, comparative reading screws me all the time (I took it twice already).

What is this PT 20 comparative passage you speak of?

Law. I can't remember exactly, wanted to provide you with the link to the test (it was free on LSAC's website), but it's not there anymore. Weird That's the only one I've found, and it's not revised (http://www.lsac.org/pdfs/test.pdf).

No it was more curiosity than anything. I thought I had done all the comparative passages.

Mods, this test was on LSAC's website not too long ago(in fact, the original version is still there), so I figured it's Ok to post the link, if not, feel free to remove it. The only difference between them is that LSAC replaced ordinary law passage with the comparative one.

- Ronald Dworkin and Legal Positivism vs Morality (PT 35)

I took a class that we read Dworkin and his opponents. On that practice test I remember getting perfect on the Dworkin passage and thinking damn why cant all RC be this easy...RC was my toughest section usually getting ~-3-7.... Weird how people perceive different sections as hardest.

For me it was always about art or music since I just have absolutely no interest in these subjects.

Exact same thing happened to me with the Dworkin passage, except if I remember correctly, I hadn't just read about Dworkin (I'm sure many people have), but I'm pretty sure the reading sample was from a book I read last semester for my Philosophy of Law class. It was extremely familiar feeling.

Riddled basins broke my soul. It was a month and a half ago - maybe two months ago - that I did it, and I still haven't recovered.

What are the hardest reading comprehension passages you guys have come across? I'm trying to put a comprehensive list of the top 10 or so. I would also like to classify them by hardest Reading Comprehension for all of the 4 categories (humanities, science, law, social science). The 10 hardest passages I've ever come across were:

- Maxine Kingston and the Chinese Talk-Story (PT 55)
- Willa Cather (PT 57)

Law passages
- Gray Marketing (PT8)

I agree about the code switching one and Willa Cather but you really thought grey marketing was tough?

The Bramble Bush by Karl Llewellyn has got to be the driest legal reading of all time. My section was assigned to read it three times over the course of the semester and it's just torture.

Definitely riddled basins and Chinese talk story (missed the entire tone of passage = fml).

Don't think any Sept 09 will be added. If there is one, I guess it would be constitutional law, but it wasn't that tough, just took me longer than usual to get through

I had like no time left on the PT where I had riddled basins and had to skim it. I got the questions right. The basic point was, that everything is random.

There was one about "group think" or something that I found particularly difficult... can't remember the PT

This is the only one out of the ones people have listed that I think was really hard. For me 51 is probably the hardest as a whole section.
