This is my last post in this thread before I take another practice test, but basically I'm worried about how accurate it's going to be and what it will reveal; when I was studying for the LSAT previously, I earned as high as a 178 on a retake. It looks like I'm going to have to retake a test this weekend so there's a good chance I'll get another high score like that. Does getting a score of that nature on a retake really mean anything?

I'm definitely retaking.

I've never taken preptests 29-38. Do you think one of those would serve as a somewhat accurate diagnostic?

You should take the more recent PTs, considering those contain comparative reading and, supposedly, easier games.
29-38 can be used to drill or as additional fifth sections.

The reason I ask is because I've used the most recent ones 2-3x already. I was working on 60 today though and I didn't really remember most of it except the topics of RC passages (which didn't help me answer the questions).

Scored a 175 on a retake today. I'm fairly certain I'll be sitting for the September exam to see if I can squeeze a few more points out of this bad boy.
