Awesome, glad to be in the boat with ya. Since you have all PT's, will you still by Cambridge packs for drilling by type? I'm wondering if this is a worthwhile investment. From the research I have done thus far, everyone usually responds with a resounding "yes", but I am interested to hear your opinion.ColonizeMars wrote: Welcome to the club! Yeap, same here, just haven't got into intense drilling part yet. I have the Bibles, Trainer, Powerscore, and 1-72 Pts (along with some Kaplan explanations), most of these passed on by a friend. Currently studying ~3 hours a day, will step it up starting next week.

Yeah, cardio is my way to get high too. Whats a Watney? I don't get that reference.chicharon wrote:Srsly, Watney, you're such a gunner.ColonizeMars wrote:You guys hit the gym or do anything physical to sharpen yourself?
But yes, I had a gym routine going while prepping for October and it helped a lot. Just cardio in the mornings before heading to work. I'll get back on it before the week is out.

Having too much materials can be counter productive, so I wouldn't buy everything people recommend here. We all have different ways we learn from. But as far as PTs go, I think its worth going through all the PTs to see how they evolved. So, if you can get your hands on them, then yes. I am not sure how significantly unique the Cambridge packs are though.TexAg95 wrote:Awesome, glad to be in the boat with ya. Best of luck from a December taker. I hope to be sitting in the sun enjoying my last carefree summer while you are locked in your testing center slaving away
But really, good luck!

Yeah... but that pain should be over by late December and then I go into a state of apathy as I wait tirelessly to hear back from law schools.ColonizeMars wrote:Yeah, yeah...kylemolodets wrote:Best of luck from a December taker. Checking in.
Studied last year, got up to a 175, then quit. Starting again, but this time I'm gonna register/pay for the June test in January, so I can't back out.
Planning on doing an hour per day M-F from January to April, then cranking it up a notch as we get closer. Really just need to get my LG to -0.

Same here! Really hope i'll do well in Feb but most likely retake during Junechicharon wrote:I started studying yesterday (read through a couple chapters in the LSAT Trainer) and continued today (did an LR section from an old PT, -4, but I've probably done a bunch of those items as drills so not reading too much into it). Caveat is that I'm kind of pushing for February with June as a back-up.cheesy143 wrote:Yall crazy

Re: The Official June 2016 Study Group
Checking in! I was originally going to take the February 2016 test, but need the time between Feb and June to really fine-tune my approach. I'm at the stage now where a majority of the LR questions I can recognize patterns or formulate an answer, but routinely get caught up in the convoluted/dense language LSAC uses to disguise the CR. For instance, I spent the last 3 weeks going over the ins and outs of "flaw" questions and practicing from the Cambridge targeted drilling book (PT 21-40) only to go about 40% on the flaw questions on PT 62 today
Very discouraging, but a learning experience. I can recognize what the flaw is, what is going on even in complicated stimuli, but the translation from that to the CR is often ridiculously hard. Staying positive!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
